2002 surgery with several revisions in the next 6 years. Best Doctor I've ever encountered!

Had work done on section 4 and 5 on my spine and dr teff was amazing. Extremely professional, made sure I understood everything that was going to happen and answered all my questions. I know I will probably have some more work done to my spine in the future and without question I will be seeing dr teff again. The staff is AWESOME!!!

I had an Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion with back rods on L4-5. I put it off for years until I noticed that I was not able to participate in my grandkids lives the way I wanted to due to pain.

I had spinal stenosis surgery. I believe it was on Lumbar 5-6. Dr Teff was the surgeon. What a terrific doctor! He explained what was wrong by showing me the MRI/scan of my back. Clearly my spinal chord was being pinched and the area around it had to be opened up to allow more space around the spinal chord. He went over the procedure with me, explained how he would do the operation and explained the possible complications that could arise. (none did). Any operation is not without risk, but with the number of years of experience he has had and with the number of times he did this operation, I was confident in his ability. Needless to say it was a complete success! I thank God for giving Dr Teff the talent to do this operation! .

I first met with Dr. Lieberman in the Chandler Clinic, he recommended I have an SI Joint fusion with Dr. Richard Teff at the Goodyear location. Both physicians and their staff were exceptionally attentive. My meeting with Dr. Teff regarding my impending surgery was informative and Dr. Teff explained everything in great detail and allowed me all the time I needed to ask questions and fully understand what was going to take place along with the recovery terms. I had my surgery at Abrazo West Campus because my insurance did not cover the Surgery Center itself. The hospital staff including admitting, pre-op, recovery, and overnight care was impressive, this was not my first surgery so I have previous experiences to compare. My most important feedback is the care that I was provided by Dr. Teff. Not too many surgeons this day and age will pull up a chair and visit, ask questions, listen to my thoughts and concerns and just plain spend loads of time with me to make sure I was being taken care of. Even in aftercare, I sent him an email on Christmas Eve day requesting a refill before the holiday weekend and he responded within minutes and took care of it. Outstanding physician care !

Dr Teff was very thorough in his exam, reviewing my scans, and answering questions. During the facet injection process and RF ablation he was extremely gentle and considerate of how I was responding. He is also considerate of your appointment time.

I was completely happy with the results of my lumbar surgery (L3-S1). The staff made me feel like family and I shall miss them when I am fully healed. Dr. Teff is one of the few doctors that I completely trust with my care. He has a great bed-side manner and answered all my questions. I was completely satisfied with the outcome of my surgery and my post-operative care. I would recommend this practice to anyone requiring back surgery, including my family.

Dr Tess performed an ablation on me. He was very informative. I was impressed with the staff. They actually answer the phone. Dr. Teff made me mentally ' Feel good' about the process.

Dr. Teff is absolutely amazing. He is truly genuine in caring for his patients and really shows he cares. I was impressed with his bedside manner. The staff is also wonderful in answering our questions and showing they care.
