I visited Dr. Sohmer a number of times in the last few years and It has always been a positive experience, even when I was in pain. His wit, friendliness and genuine care, combined with his expertise, always made my visits a positive experience. His assistant Lila was also caring and super competent. I love the fact that he and her give you a succint play by play as he's performing the surgery on you. You get an idea of how it's evolving instead of wondering when it will end. I just had a root canal yesterday and it was quick, flawless and pretty much painless. Thank you! François L., patient.

I wish there were more than 5 stars to rate Dr Sohmer. I had my second root canal done by him and, I must say, that it was the easiest and most "enjoyable" experience both times. He is a super-pro, friendly, on-time, compassionate and understanding doctor in his field. His fees are normal and humane, making it affordable to have oral surgery for the ones who can hardly afford it. I wish there were more like him... Dr Sohmer m’a reçue en urgence pour un traitement de canal. Je suis sortie de ce rendez-vous avec le sourire. Il est non seulement extrêmement compétent mais il est drôle et gentil au point où on oublie presque d’avoir peur ! Je suis enchantée et je le recommande chaudement!

I had the “pleasure” of visiting Dr. Sohmer’s office July 2021. Professional, knowledgeable, very friendly. Dr. Sohmer quickly diagnosed my cracked molar & within a few minutes, he had removed my tooth. Very positive experience. Highly recommend.

I had two root canals done in the past 10 years with Dr. Sohmer, the 2nd being yesterday. It was smooth sailing, he is so gentle and funny and makes you feel so relaxed the entire time. He is patient and kind and an expert at root canals. There is almost no pain at all today, a little tender because of the needles for freezing but other than that no pain at all. I would very highly recommend Dr. Sohmer to anyone needing a root canal. His assistant Lila is also awesome, always smiling and very helpful. So if you need a root canal, look no further, go to Dr. Sohmer because he is the BEST!!!

I just had a triple root canal with Dr Sohmer. I was nervous going in but he had me laughing first thing... best root canal I have ever had as Dr Sohmer is careful and efficient and warns you with a brief explanation of what to expect. He puts you at ease every step of the way. I am very grateful to him and to his assistant.
