A lot of reviews for PEI psychiatrists are bad and that has more to do with our system. I will say when I was meeting with dr Keizer it seemed like their schedule seemed like more than one person should handle.

Regardless I felt comfortable talking to them which I have not felt from other psychiatrists. Personally I don’t like taking anti depressants and yes they prescribed them but they also helped deal with my negative thoughts in a way that made me see a path of not always being on anti depressants.

Looking back I very much appreciate dr Keizer very much.

Worst person I have come across and she is supposed to be a psychiatrist.
not listen to my concerns, gave me different diagnosis and medications, which I have completely come off at present and doing much better.
Rude , arrogant and this narcissistic desire to be all important and always right.
I did not get the care that I would consider as basic human treatment.
Hard to get a hold off to make any appointments.

I am glad to move on and take better care of myself.
This experience has taught me not to take kindness and humbleness for granted, not everyone has it.....

Very fortunate to have Dr. Keizer to help me. As an older patient I sometimes feel like a lost cause but her advice and support keep me going to try and understand my feelings and validate them.

Dr Keizer has always been very knowledgeable, professional and helpful. She showed empathy towards me and my problem and was helpful in getting me to a place where I was able to help myself. She followed my progress and recommended changes when necessary. She made recommendations on books that would allow me to work on relaxation techniques and help with sleep issues. I am very thankful she was there to support and guide me. Her receptionist has always been kind and helpful.

Terrible, honestly.
Misdiagnosed me like 5 times.
Forced me to take strong medications for numerous mental health issues I never even had. (One of which gave me full body tremors for five months straight).
She literally never listens to anything you say.
She is just going to prescribe you with medications for mental health issues you don't even have. She isn't interested in talking to you, just in misdiagnosing you.

Her in office Staff is rude and unprofessional, not helpful and am unsure if our requests were ever passed on frankly. Doctor dropped private care for our loved one without notice or referral to other care. Apparently she moved from position to another job. Requested patients medical records over and over, even has GP request them, still have t received them. (Was important for out of province specialist wondering about medication prescribed.). Care was unprofessionally managed causing cascading problems for loved one unnecessarily. If I could give zero for staff, I would.

Terrible. Horrendous personality, treated me like the dirg of the earth. Had to set up 5 different appointments before her receptionist finally called and said I’m good to go on the 5th one. Extremely unsettling and a selfish human, to say the least. I would not recommend this docter.
