Dr. Carlson is a wonderful and caring doctor. He takes the time to answer any questions and concerns I have and has educated me on the condition I’ve been faced with. He is very reassuring and lets me know I’m not alone, that we will work through any challenges together. I am so grateful to have been referred to Dr. Carlson.

"Reassuring" is less important than transparency in my opinion. Dr Carlson did not inform me of the possible negative outcomes before my surgery for kidney stones.

Really excellent doctor. Young by my standards and thankfully so since he remove d my cancerous kidney using keyhole surgery techniques. Really pleasant bedside manner. Punctual with hos appointments. Sincere and straightforward in his analysis and recommendations.

Consider yourself lucky if you have Dr Carlson as your Urologist. He is a very skilled surgeon, and empathetic to his patient’s physical and emotional experiences. He “tells it like it is” and yet is reassuring at the same time. He is well-liked and respected by colleagues and patients. I doubt if you could ask for a better Urologist and I am thankful that I was referred to him.
