This woman should be stripped of her medical license. If there is someone moderating this website that would have more information regarding filing an official complaint to ACOG, please let me know. If I could give her zero stars across the board, I would.

Because going to the obgyn is such a personal experience, you expect a level of care and consideration. I did not appreciate the bedside manner of Dr. Bovo- I literally left the room in tears. She began by getting aggravated because she said that I was penciled in for a "yearly" when in fact it was a "problem visit", and she "didn't even read my chart" at all. Well,...it was a yearly for someone who happens to have a problem. She really made me feel uncomfortable from the beginning, and the staff there is so impatient, I really felt somewhat mistreated and stepped-on...not the way you want to feel when going to a obgyn appointment. I would not recommend her, I found her very difficult to communicate with.

She was the worst doctor i ever seen. I saw her for a yearly exame and she was not very nice. She wasnt friendly or gental. Very rough. She shoved her finger up you. Then made some nasty remarks that was uncall for. Was very disatisfied. she made me feel very unconforbale. I never will see her again.

Dr. Bovo had to be one of the worst gyn's I ever saw. I went there for abnormal bleeding after menopause and was very anxious. She kept her back to me almost the entire time in the beginning while asking me questions and made a comment about how she needed to cross her t's and dot her i's because of insurance and what a pain they were. She came out and said very coldly that I had a 20% chance of having cancer. During the exam she was trying to force my legs open and said "You just can't relax" Well no, not around her I couldn't. She told me how I would probably need a D&C since I couldn't relax and therefore she wouldn't be able to do a biopsy in the office. She incorrectly wrote on my blood work results post menopausal bleeding times 2 (it was only the first time) and refuses biopsy. Just all around a terrible, cold doctor with no bedside manner whatsoever. I also have had problems with this office in general just returning phonecalls. Going to be finding a new gyn for sure!
