Horrible. My daughter was in a car accident and was getting very bad headaches and back/ neck issues. She was told the pain was all in her head that there was nothing wrong with her. Fought with her for a year to send her for Chiro/massage treatments and asked for xray. Got absolutely nothing from her. Should not be practicing medicine. Doctors are supposed to be there to help you with your issues.

I’ve had her as my doctor since moving to NB, and that was 10 years ago.
When get my first ever pap she made me feel very uncomfortable commenting on how small I was (I’m a thin person)
I’ve had 3 children so most of my visits to her have been for my kids. She is harder to understand so I’m having to ask her to repeat herself a lot.
I’ve asked her for my kids blood type for years and always get told I don’t need to know, it’s not important. Yes it may not be important to you but it’s information I’d like to know.
Everytime I go in she comments on my weight and asks me if I’m eating (like I’ve said I’m petite)

Only seems to want easy appointments and nothing complicated, yet does not give you referrals unless it is repeatedly requested or insisted upon

She’s refused any referral that I asked her for, she’s not interested in your ailments and is so argumentative that she’ll spend more time convincing you that you’re wrong about your pain, illness etc., than providing any health care. As for bedside manner, a rating of zero. Wouldn’t you love to be in stirrups and the doctor standing over you telling you you shouldn’t shave down there. If you’re looking for an Advil prescription, go here, because Advil is her cure for everything. Awful, would never recommend this doctor. Who issued her a license.

She does not listen, hard to understand, with no manners, told me I need to losses weight, and I was fat, obviously she has not looked in the mirror, very bad personality

Dr began does not like to listen to her patients, she cuts you off mid sentence and does not let you finish. With new diabetes I asked to see a dietician , told me to see her instead, had problems with a skin irritation and ended up with a pelvic exam at age 70. Had to go to a walk in site toget another Dr to prescribe what I needed for a condition I've had for 30 yrs, she wouldn't fill the prescription for the skin condition. Staff treats you kindly. Very frustrated when there isn't any follow through from previous health issues . I b3lieve her older patients would be best suited to an internal medicine Dr who understands complex health issues.

Horrible and shouldn’t be practicing. Told my 11 year old stepson he is obese when we were already there for a referral to therapy. No compassion. Put her hand up to me not to talk as she wanted my stepson to answer but he was shy. Judged my husband for having a child with someone he didn’t know because we didn’t know the full medical history of his biological mother. Should not be practicing medicine.

The secretary at Dr.Begam’s office is top notch. She is pleasant, helpful and discreet.. Unfortunately the quality of the service ends there .

Dr. Begam’s English is better now she has been here for several years ; so at least now I can understand her when she speaks to me. Previous, basic conversation with her were almost impossible.

During an examination it always crosses my mind whether she could understand a nuanced discussion regarding my health.

I find her dismissive, argumentative and generally unhelpful when asking for medical tests or exams. The feeling I get is she wants the money for a simple doctors visit but either can’t or doesn’t want to investigate potential emerging health problems.

I have never seen any accreditation on her walls and almost feel sometimes that she is afraid to provide more in-depth care or simply can’t.

She is pleasant enough at a very basic level... so you will be getting very basic service.

Secretary is excellent. Dr. has a difficult time prescribing painkillers for a long standing problem from over 50 years ago. Always punctual. She talks too fast and hates being questioned about results of tests or why she does what she is doing. She is very good at referrals for me and other tests.
