Dr. Has no compassion. Has zero personality. He only wants to do his treatment without interacting with the patient and if family members have any questions they have to make an appointment to ask the doctor questions.

Since 2001 I have had three (3) pain pumps implanted and have suffered through many morphine withdrawals due to the first pain pump malfunctioning. After the retirement of my pain doctor in 2015 Dr. Reis took over the management of my pain pump. In a year's time (a total of 5 actual doctor visits) my wife and I dealt with numerous false accusations from him as well as being lied to. Because the doctor/patient relationship was broken I was "fired" although I was repeatedly told otherwise by the nurses and assistant administrator.. Up to this point he had already fired at least 10 patients! When my character as well as my wife's character is being assassinated with unfounded claims by Dr. Reis I was not about to sit quietly and say nothing! I have never been treated by any doctor past or present with such disrespect as I did with Dr. Reis. Now I am left with no pain management doctor and no prospect of having a new pain pump put in. I would never, ever recommend a doctor such as Dr. Reis who has no compassion for those experiencing excruciating and debilitating pain!

Dr. Reis did a wonderful job for me. After receiving the 3 injections, I did not have as much back pain as before. With my pain it is in my joints not the muscles. He did what he could and I will go back to see him again whenever I need too. Thank you and your staff for getting rid of my pain.

Dr. Reis has a great personality and is willing to listen and explain and treat! Spinal injections are helping me manage pain without pills and avoid surgery. He also prescribed a traction machine which is very helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Reis for back pain.

I really do enjoy getting to see him,I think he is very knowledgeable in his field and I feel that he takes the time to listen to your concerns and questions and explains it to you in a way that you can understand. He is very personable GREAT bed side manners. I have had a series of 3 Steroid injections in my lower lumbar area and he made me feel so comfortable and explained everything he was doing as he done it...I also asked him for a referral to see another Doctor and he was more than happy to assist me in that. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone,in fact I have recommended him to my Pastor already. I am so fortunate to have him as my pain management doctor. I wished I would've found him much sooner I had seen many doctors before for the same pain and I feel that he is the only one that I feel has took my pain/symptoms seriously, I had one doctor to think that I was only seeking Drugs but what I was seeking was an actual diagnosis. Southeast Hospital and Cape Girardeau have both benefited from having Dr. Reis in their practice & town.

I have always been seen promptly for my appointments with Dr Reis. He has been extremely helpful in reducing my pain level. My only regret is that I didn't see him sooner. I had given up hope of having my pain reduced without having to have back surgery. Dr Reis was determined to find other options with surgery being a last resort. I have and will continue to recommend him to others ..
