Avoid, avoid, For the past 6 weeks the office has rescheduled my appointment three times, they were nasty and very unprofessional. Yesterday they called me four hours before my appointment to cancel me for the third time. When I expressed that I would not be coming back, they said ok and hung up. How unprofessional. The wait time is ridiculous and the front desk staff is so rude. Dr. Summa is a good doctor and she has constant turnover with her staff, I am still waiting for a call back from Dr. Summa to discuss this situation. Ever since she opened up the north shore office, the franklin square office has suffered big time. I work in the medical field and if I treated a patient the way her staff treats patients I would be fired, and the doctors would have no patients. AVOID at all cost.

Professional doctor who quickly diagnosed me accurately. Being a working actor my face is everything. She cleared up my skin issue quickly. I only have positive things to say about Dr. Summa.

The wait time was forever. I hate going to doctors so i had a friend come with me. We went in I told what was going on she looked then stuck a needle in the back of my head were the bump was. She never told me what she was doing. My friend and I both turned and asked what she just put in me. She gave me a cortisone shot. It was so painful. I've been suffering with skin infections for a few months and thought that i would go to her for help. She never tested for anything and just gave me the shot. Told me to come back in a week. I ended up at a first med. The dr there told me i should have been on antibiotics. I could have ended up in the hospital.I would never tell anyone to go see her. She has no manners.

Dr. Summa was professional, kind, empathetic and thorough. I'd recommend her to people of all ages. She is prompt, spends a good deal of time with you, and has always solved any of my skin problems. I feel comfortable around her, and because of her compassion and medical expertise, I will continue to go back.

I was recommended to this dr by my mother and i was extremely happy with how she treated me as a patient. She was gentle with my treatment and very nice with excellent bedside manners. All in all I have nothing bad to say about this Dr or her staff! I would recommend her to any of my friends or family.

We visited Dr. Summa on a recommendation from friend and on the fact that she was a pediatric dermatologist. My daughters saw her for warts and I honestly feel this doctor does not deserve to have "pediatric" behind her name. She has absolutely ZERO bedside manner, never once introducing herself or taking the time to talk to my daughters. She got right to the point of looking at their hands (never once at them) in fact the whole atmosphere of the office was one of an assembly line When I asked if the liquid nitrogen she was about to spray on my daughter's wart would hurt, she seemed annoyed that I even asked and then said it would be "annoying". I doubt Dr. Summa ever experienced liquid nitrogen on one of her body part. A week later and my daughter's hands still hurt and there are huge blisters where she missed and sprayed their skin. My littlest was sobbing in the waiting room and no one even glanced her way. I would never recommend this doctor and we won't be going back.
