He does not have a good bedside manner at all. Condescending and completely lacking in empathy. Very "by the book", but so much that he does not listen to the patient. I waited a week to see a specialist like him about kidney pain, and he had no answers and no plan other than to wait a few days for labs and imaging. As for the pain "It's probably just muscle or skeletal, take some ibuprofen and stretch it out". I had to go back to my family physician to get some relief for my pain until things can get going. I could have done that in the first place, without needing a specialist that doesn't offer anything special.
