I also found Dr. Rodgers to be almost downright rude, with no bedside manner or kindness. I also felt she could have cared less, and seemed annoyed to have to listen to me or answer questions. Even when she was slightly less of an ice queen at the end, even the improvement would not be a level of kindness or caring I would want from a doctor. Especially with the circumstances I went to her with, her answers and lack of solutions to my problem left me worse off than if I had never even had the appointment, from it being a total waste of time, money, etc, and that her awful manner just made me feel awful too.

After one visit I agree with other comments regarding bedside manner. Unfortunately that alone is enough for me to go elsewhere. Went to have hormones checked and when I asked questions I felt like I was looked at like they were completely ridiculous. Appreciated in the end though that she invited questions and asked if I had any other concerns. The dark-haired woman in the front office was a gem.

My experience with Dr. Rodgers after 2 visits is that communication and punctuality are not really valued by her or her staff. For my first visit, I had been scheduled for an appointment during a time when she was in surgery, so I waited probably an hour for her to even get to the office. At my second visit, it was frustrating to be on time but to have to sit in the waiting room for an hour because she was "taking care of some emergencies". Sure, things come up, but this could have been communicated to me. It was as though no one cared about my problem or my time.

She is very good at what she does, and is very knowledgable, but not the personable, friendly type. If you want a doctor that feels kind of like a friend, I would not recommend her, but she did warm up to me toward the end of my pregnancy. All in all, I think she's a really good doctor though. Oh, and the office staff is amazing!

Very knowledgable...just not personable. I had no idea what she was doing half the time, and when I would ask she seemed annoyed. Being a first time mom, I would have liked to know what was happening with the baby as I was pregnant.
