Dr Miller takes the time to make sure he has taken care of all of your concerns. He actively listens, and takes appropriate action.

We gave this rating based on the difficulty we had with getting the doctor to communicate effectively both the diagnosis as well as the plan of treatment for an elderly family member. The doctor saw the patient alone and did not send the patient away with usable information. Now, to be perfectly fair, we were warned that this was not a strength of Dr. Miller. In fact we were cautioned that this had happened repeatedly with three other patients in discussing it at a local senior center. So we are partially at fault and take some of the blame. However in discussing it with other people who are his patients, we have learned that this issue continues to be a problem. It HAS been discussed with both the front desk staff (who are not overly helpful) as well as with the doctor himself to no avail. So we would caution someone from trusting a loved one with Dr. Keith Miller. Do your homework, there are other PCPs in the area with a greater attention to details such as these.
