If 0 for punctuality was an option, he would receive it. The first appt of the day at 8:30am (arriving early) left me in a chair until 10:30 before actually seeing him, though I heard him engaging with other patients the entire time in the rooms next to mine. However as stated in the other reviews he is extremely knowledgable and worth the wait, just plan around it.

Dr. Lehman performed surgery on my shoulder. After seven weeks, I could not move my arm. He had me stand in front of him and was able to diagnose the problem just by watching me try to lift my arm. It just took some tape to tape down my traps to keep them out of the way. My shoulder is completely healed and have full mobility. I am even back to lifting weights. He is a great doctor. You will wait to see him.

You'll wait for him, Only because he takes time with each patient, But he is the best in the business, All the pro athletes and stars come to him for a reason, He's the best. Diagnosed my elbows perfectly and after the first surgery I could not be happier, Very little pain after surgery and I can already tell the difference in my arm less than 24 hrs later. Awesome Doctor!

Dr.Lehman may not be on time for your appointment,(plan for the whole morning or afternoon), but he is well worth the wait. He has done 2 surgeries on my knee and he is absolutely the best. His diagnosis are right on, and he know's exactly what to do and when you need surgery. I will trust no other orthopedic surgeon since I've been to him.

I went to see Dr. Lehman for an IME thru workmens comp.He was 2 hrs. late getting to see me and by his report he gave he was "paid " very well by them. He had over half of the report screwed up. He changed things I said to benefit the insurance company. He wasn't in the room a total of 5 minutes. Doctors take an oath to do no harm but they love there money too. I would not recommend anyone go to him for an IME.

Although he is chronically late (bring a book), Dr. Lehman is THE top name in sports medicine in the midwest. When two other doctors told me to quit running forever, Dr. Lehman was the one who said "bull$h!t" and fixed my knees. Since then, he has helped me with countless other problems and been right every time. If you're looking for quality sports medicine, look no further.
