I have been a patient of Dr Gray for 27 plus years and could not be more pleased...Dr Gray and her Medical Secretary Francine are tops in my books...always accommodating even at last minute or after hours to fit me in...I have never had to wait after Dr Gray has referred me to a specialist - always get right in- routine mammograms etc are always done within days of Dr Gray / Francine submitting request..Dr Gray is always busy so waiting on her at a scheduled appointment has happened but who hasn't been to any Dr that has not had to wait...I could not have found a better doctor!!

I have been with Janice since she began her practice. At first, she was big on writing prescriptions, most of which I ignored, but as the years went on, we bonded together. If she can't solve the issue, she sends you elsewhere, but I take issue with statements made here about her lack of compassion. She's a doctor, not a friend who supports bad behaviour. She wants you to be well.

If you’re looking for knowledge, compassion, advocacy or help in any way continue looking because Dr.Gray will provide you with NONE of the above. In fact you will feel worse when After seeing this doctor. She lacks any kind of compassion or care. I waited to write this review to give myself time to digest the horrible visit I made to her but, I feel as disheartened now as I did that day. Truly, continue your search. She had no idea what was wrong with me nor did she have any inter in finding out. I got shoulder shrugging, rubbing her neck and looking up at the ceiling. I ended up fainting the day after seeing her and the issue was actually very simple to diagnose if she had made any effort at all. The doctor that diagnosed me suggested I lodge a complaint after hearing my experience with her. I’m sure that is a very uncommon thing for a colleague to suggest. Horrible experience!

After repeated visits for a chronic illness that has affected my ability to work and function normally, Dr. Gray never went beyond a lazy shoulder shrug to figure out the source of my problem. Dismissive to the point that my chronic illness has gotten worse due to lack of treatment. My brother was also denied treatment during a visit and as a result had to go to the emergency room within 24hrs of his appointment, where he was assured he was fine. My mother and I have also been prescribed drugs from this doctor that were irresponsibly prescribed without consideration of how it would conflict with other meds/ongoing health issues. That being said; her receptionist Francine is lovely.

I had a hard time getting used to her personality. But understand I need a doctor not a friend. She has proven herself to be a good family doctor. I trust her. Sometimes she doesn’t do what I want but she always treats my problem and listens to me. I had a yearly physical with her and she really took the time to go over all my concerns and I had many. I have never not waited from for s doctors appointment I don’t find her any better or worse for punctuality. If I ask for a referral she’s good to do it. She’s been good with my children. The front desk staff are beyond good. I couldn’t say enough good things about them.

Growing pains in the beginning, but worked the bugs out, Been with her almost since the beginning. Excellent Person, and Doctor, Her Staff, couldn't be a better fit, Awesome. Dr. G, has been extremely supportive over the years, and wouldn't want anyone else. Other comments don't see her as a person, really don't need to wasting time my time. Punctuality, I will wait, I know she attending to someone else's issue. All humans have moods, and issues to deal with, I think she does an excellent job. She has always been on point, and if she only deals with one issue at my appointment, then that is where the focus is. Very pleased with her service. sorry to hear of hard times for others, but Dr. Janice Gray is the best Health Care Provider for me.

Think twice before having this doctor as your GP. I encountered her during an emergency visit to the Carleton Place Hospital. Going forward if ever needing to go back I will first ask what doctor is on, and if it's her I will be driving to Almonte. This Doctor is rude and dismissive. I registered with chest pains She said to me that she is not concerned because there is no family history of cardiac problems. She then asked me "So what do you want to know about your pain "? I looked at her and said "well, what is causing it? I'm not a doctor so I don't know if I should be worried". She then replied in a condescending way, I know you aren't a doctor. She sent me home with a requesistion to come back in the morning for an Xray after I persisted that the pain wasn't normal. Her bedside manner is awful and she shouldn't be in the line of work for caring for people as she comes off as not giving a sh#t. I wish the college of physicians sent in "mystery shoppers" to assess these kinds of doctors will lots of bad reviews.

Horrible Doctor. I've been seeing her for years if it wasn't so hard to find a new doctor id have left long ago. She does not listen, is condescending and rude. Some days she is in a good mood (but still has a bad attitude) other days she is in a horrible mood and snippy. Her staff are amazing and nice however, she is just a total dud. You can tell if she is in a bad mood if she walks in and looks like she just rolled out of bed. I have had a medical issue for over 8 years and she refuses to send me to a specialist - she has a who cares you have lived with it for this long attitude. Finally decided to rate her because I'm fed up and id hate for anyone else to go through this with her.

Dr. Gray has been my family doctor for two years now and I could not be more pleased with the service I received from her and clinic manager. She is a genuine good person who shows compassion, always punctual and attentive to my medical needs. Recent developments in my health let her to call the Ottawa Hospital (Civic Campus) directly to have them see me the same day. That initiative led to the discovery of two cancerous tumours in my right kidney which may have gone undetected. I can not thank her enough for potentially saving my life.

Dr Gray has consistently gone above and beyond. she is extremely knowledgeable and kind and will not hesitate to refer to a specialist.
