Very impressed with Dr Meyers...knowledgeable, compassionate and kind...my husband and I are patients in calgary...

I had a very unpleasant experience with him when I brought my toddler in. Without even physical looking at my son, he said I need to look into circumcizing him. I asked him to expand and then he explained reasons which were not linked to what my son had (because again, he didn't look at him). Then made inappropriate comments that just felt very off. Not things that made me feel comfortable. At the end of it, he recommended 2 prescriptions (even though my regular dr who was on vacation gave an OTC cream the last time it occurred). I ended up trusting my instinct and buying the cream my regular dr recommended which healed up within a day.
I just honestly couldn't trust Dr.Pieter Meyer BECAUSE of his mannerism and traditional views. It did not make me feel welcome.

Very smart man however his bedside manner is poor to say the least. Has seen my family for years and at first he was a wonderful doctor for us however we’ve spent hours waiting to have him show up for scheduled appointments, couldn’t get appointments booked, had referrals not sent out, forms not filled out, test results were not relayed back to us until months later at times, while admitted for five days only saw him once and asked me no questions about my condition or how I was feeling... very disappointed by someone my family trusted for so long...

Dr meyer is a great Dr. I had the flesh eating disease in my ear for 3 months after having a wrong diagnosis. I seen him and he gave me medicine. I went in the other night for a UTI snd he sat down and talked to me about it. I reccomend this dr to anyone!

I was visiting my grand son and his family this summer and while there had a serious nosebleed, actually three days in a row. On the third day my second to the ER Dr. Meyer was on call, he successfully cauterized and packed my nose so that I could return back to Nova Scotia. I liked Dr. Meyer for his straightforward answers and work ethic

I have had him as my family doctor for over 7 years and he has helped me through many struggles. He can be very blunt, and straight forward, but you need that kind of honesty. He is there to listen, and help. Great doctor.

I had the honor of meeting this Dr. at the walk-in clinic yesterday after having gone through at least 5 other Doctors. This was one of the only doctors who took the time to explain my condition attempt to resolve it and actually listen to me. it took him no time to diagnose something that so many overlooked. Too many doctors are overworked in this town and the result is distant doctors. This doctor is no exception to being overworked but still took the time to listen, and help. Very impressed.

Fantastic physician. This man makes every single patient feel like a friend. Cold Lake is in need of more doctors and that is one factor making it hatd to get n appointment with him. The real reason for the long wait to see him is that his pasients will rather wait to see him than any other doctor. He may take a bit longer with some types of letters and insurance claims but he ensures that everything are correct and done the proper way.
Dr. Meyer is a fantastic doctor for me and my family
