She is condescending and cold. I have been seeing her for years, constantly complaining about irregular periods, and severe stomach pain. She has dismissed me, discredited me and mocked me every time. She has always chalked this pain up to being normal and there’s nothing we can do until this last visit where I suggested the possibility of me having endometriosis, she basically laughed in my face and told me there’s no way but I insisted we do an ultra sound which she seemed very annoyed. I was already upset and stressed not knowing what seemed to be going on with my body and her being cruel during such an emotional and vulnerable time for a woman made my experience 10X worse. After the ultra sound she came back in and said well you were right, there definitely is something going on. The tech found too much fluid, a ruptured cyst and another solid mass on your ovary. Of course I was immediately shocked and upset and had started to cry while she just blankly stared at me and eventually said “well you’re not dying” once again invalidating my feelings and pain once again. She didn’t give me anymore information other than that frankly because I don’t believe she has any idea what she’s talking about. But then told me a radiologist would take a look and they’d call me the next day. I waited and waited, called multiple times, even got hung up on, until eventually someone told me I was on her top priority list already so she would definitely be giving me a call by the end of the day which was a Friday. No call that day, so I had to continue through the weekend upset, scared, and in pain because the office was closed. It is now Monday and I am still waiting for a response from her, the secretary had confirmed that the radiologist recorded my results and they had been in there since Friday, all I am waiting for now is for Tina to call me. After the way she has treated me, and let this suffering go on for years to do her being negligent and not taking her patients seriously, you’d think she’d feel awful and call me right away to start to treat whatever it is going on. But no, still waiting, this is the best way I can describe Tina Alessi. If you are looking for a gyno with empathy, compassion, consideration and knowledge she is not the midwife for you!

She was terrible. I am also in the medical profession and my husband is a physician- I have never witnessed such poor bed side manner. She is rude and condescending just like the other comments say. I’d save your copay and go someplace else.

This was the worse experience I have ever had. A simple pap test should not be painful. It was horrific. After the apt, it hurt to sit down. She made insulting remarks why it was painful. When she called me back with my results, she literally scared me and told me I was at a high risk. I wanted to understand what I had to do next and she was rude and impatient. I should have looked up her reviews. I switched doctors immediately. If I could give her a zero I would.

I must agree with the other negative comments. She is beyond condescending. She is rude and lacks knowledge. She doesn't know what she is talking about although treats you like you are ignorant and she is the expert (she is not). She is a nasty person. There are incredible people out there and unfortunately I had to meet up with her. She should not be representing this practice!

This lady is horrible! Hands down the worst. Should not be caring for patients. Nothing short of a b***h! Made my birth experience terrible. She brings down Dr. Garfinkles whole office. Fire her already. You can do better!

Incompetent, arrogant, lacks knowledge and compassion. She is Not a doctor but pretends to be one. She is cold and I would give her zero starts if I could. She saw me in the hospital after my emergency c section, gave me an innacurate exam and almost discharged me though I had uncontrolled pre-eclampsia. I insisted on seeing a doctor and saw Dr. Lagaduva who was wonderful.

Tina is absolutely wonderful! I have gone through a handful of disappointing gynecologists, Tina is a breath a fresh air.

Tina is absolutely wonderful !! I switched to her when I was 20 weeks pregnant with my first child and couldn't be happier ! I now see her for regular yearly visits as well. She is professional, warm and knowledgable. I have recommended several other friends to see her and they all love her as well !
