Hello this Quack was to examine me when my Dr was out ill. He came to waiting room with a teenaged intern in tow asking for Roskar who was my Dr. I said I was the patient of the Dr then he said oh yes sorry. took me to a room to examine and ask my medical history. I was going for a high blood pressure consult, My brother had been taking a lisinopril based medication which worked well for him. I ask Quack who reviewed my medical history if I could try to see if it worked. Quack asked if I got medications outside VA. Yes and asked number of pharmacy I used. I gave him and he said go pick up meds. Later the pharmacy said no we tried contact Quack but he left main operator number for the VA WEST LA. the pharmacy tried many times to call back but Quack was gone. The medicine he prescribed was of a sulfa base which I am allergic to, Maybe a week later I tracked Quack down after hearing he was no longer on staff with Cedars-Sinai and UCLA. when I called his cell number and told him what happened he said," did you take the medicine. I replied no pharmacy didn't give me since I was allergic to it. Quack said " Oh well no harm done. anything else? I had my choice words and he hung up on me. his number in case you had same problem is 1-562-822-7098 . if this is quality of medical professionals we have now we are all in trouble
