Dr. Rummel is a very nice, open, and friendly. He is great for your basic needs. However, this is a small town. He doesn't have the tools available for complex issues. He doesn't see a lot of variety in patients. This isn't his fault, it's a small area. That's just the reality of it. So, if your kids have ear aches, need immunizations, etc. He's great. If mom needs a check up and monitoring of her blood pressure medication. He's your guy.

I have had a few primary care doctors over the past several years and Dr. Rummel is by far the best. Not only is Dr. Rummel extremely smart and passionate about what he does, he has a great ability to put you at ease by explaining everything in plain english and talking to you as a normal person. He is very caring and very easy to talk too, not like some of these doctors who feel they are above everyone else. Dr. Rummel spends more time with me than any other doctor I have had, he has taken on my health issues head on and I have seen great results. I tend to worry a lot and he always is able to put my worries at ease. His staff is always extremely pleasant and helpful and they make being at the doctors much more tolerable.

After 1 hr wait, took Rummel 15 min to ruin my treatment of 6yrs. Letter & statements he made to Comp contradict actual visit notes HE & nurse when he saw me. His Visit Note has inaccurate info; facts re: my case left out & seems to jump the gun w/o all the info. Exam imcomplete IMO as RN 25yr. Said he'd refer me to pain mgmt doc; I called sev times but he never did.He yanked me off meds I'd been on 6yr started by Buffalo Specialist & told never stop abruptly yet Rummel didn't wean me off, I suffered greatly. I brought specialist notes & signed Release for PCP records, told staff they needed to get those; Rummel made neg remarks cuz huge amt PCP records not brought. Rummel's accusatory statements to Comp based on info from hostile source, his refusal to talk/let me prove truth - harmed my future healthcare. Told 1 wk ere appt he'd stop taking Comp NOT when made appt. With 1 appt, after ruining my medical regime & tarnishing my reputation, Rummel never saw/spoke to me again. AVOID HIM
