Accolades to Dr. Seema Dar and her Team (Alexis, Andrea, Vanessa, Robert, Deb Melanie, and Meg)
This team professionally worked together like a well-lubricated team (Pun-intended). At every juncture, I was met with a smile, a friendly and professional approach, and a host of understanding. Even with my history of panic attacks, and issues with vaso-vagal episodes from intrusive procedures, I NEVER ONCE experienced any of this with this team. Dr Dar was professional and humorous during our post-procedure visit.

I never thought I would say this, but I look forward to my next opportunity to visit. I just hate the preparation phase!

This office is sooooo poorly run ! To begin with I called to see when my next appointment needed to be scheduled . I was informed, last October. When I asked why no one notified me, the response was I don’t know , but we will check and see, “why you fell through the cracks.” Then when I was able to schedule an appointment, I informed the lady on the phone I have trouble with the prep. She gave me a different brand. I started this, as directed, at 6:00 on a Sunday evening. At 6:15 I threw it up. At 6:30 I contacted the on call Dr. He cancelled my procedure for 6:30 the next morning and told me to call the office the next day. He also told me there were some pills I could take but they could have reneal effects. I called on Monday....no return call. I called on Tuesday, no return call. I called 3 times on Wednesday , no return call. I got in my car and drove to the office. Dealt with a snippy receptionist. She wouldn’t let me talk to an office mgr. or Dr. she said the pills had been called into my pharmacy. I told her I wanted to talk to someone about the possible side effects of the pills. She told me all the Drs. were gone, and did I want to schedule an appointment. I said what I really wanted was a form to have my records transferred. I HAD been a patient here since 2009. I signed the papers! By the way, I started with Dr, Dar and was passed off to a new associate doctor with no introduction as to the why’s. This office is very unprofessional and could care only for $$$.

First experience with doctor over a year ago was fine. Recent experience with PA and staff for diverticulitis flareup was horrible. Staff directed me to the ER for pain instead of scheduling a follow-up appointment. Guess doctor doesn't want to treat patients if she can't perform and expensive procedure. I'm looking for another doctor.

Very poor experience with this doctor. If you want surgeries done on you, this is the place to go because they make money by doing unnecessary procedures

Dr. Dar is extremely professional and knowledgeable. She explains illnesses and procedures thoroughly and doesn't mind questions. She returns phone calls, which doesn't always happen in the medical field these days and she is patient and caring. The wait to see her has never been overly long. Her staff seems a bit confused sometimes and spacey sometimes, so she might want to discuss professionalism with them, but otherwise, I highly recommend this doctor!

I had an appointment with Dr. Dar at 4:45, but she wasn't in the office that day. (They didn't let me know this prior) I finally got called back to see the NP around 6:15 and checked out around 6:40. Something that struck me as completely abnormal was that given all the issues I had. We only had a verbal conversation about my pain. There was no "hop on the table and let me examine you" in the initial consult or the folllow up. It is impossible to speak to a medical professional. All I wanted to do was run my meds by a nurse to see if I could take them since I had a biopsy, per parting instructions from surgicenter. I left a message for her. Her machine said she'd get back to me in 48 hours. I never heard back from her. I called the front office to leave a message for anyone. I wanted to know if I could take my Rxs. One was an NSAID and I had stomach lesions... front office text message to doc or NP... doc or NP text messages front desk gatekeeper... she calls back... I have a follow up questions and the cycle continues for two days. I called my primary doc and had all my records sent to him. He's the one that gave me all of my results since Dr. Dar's office makes you wait a month after your procedure to go in. My primary doctor was astonished that I went to a specialist and didn't get an examination either time. He evidently wasn't satisfied with their reporting either because he's having me get a second opinion. I went 5 years ago for routine first colonoscopy and everything was fine. This time was ridiculously bad and the surgery center is just like a cattle call. Line them up and move them through. I waited hours. They wouldn't let me have my book. "Forced relaxation" they called it. Listening to intakes and medical histories on both sides of me was less than relaxing. It was just an all around poor experience.

I had several procedures with Dr Seema Dar. She lines up her patients like cattle. The last time I saw her she cut me internally. That evening I was in ICU at NE Baptist. Its the closest I ever came to death. I was in ICU for 10 days. She never came to see me. Avoid her like the plague.

I was seeing Dr. Dar for my first colonoscopy, and although I had some issues with my prep, she and her staff were very nice and professional in helping me. The follow-up visit was quite helpful in my understanding of the way my particular body and colon functions.
