Just what the doctor ordered
recently saw him I was very impressed about on time the doctor was and how much he was actually listening to what I had to say. Had similar experiences at the Medical group as well. I recommended in to my friends and they also been happy. All in all just a nice doctor and good neurologist.

He took the time to assess me and we discussed possible courses of action. It was the most in-depth, effective, and pleasant appointment, and am starting to feel better already.

As a young female with multiple chronic illnesses, I am very used to being overlooked and passed over by doctors as I "look fine." Dr. Cohen was instantly compassionate and thoroughly invested in helping me not only with my chronic migraines, but with my complex illness. I would highly recommend Dr. Cohen to anyone, he is one of the best doctors I have encountered in any field!

Let me start by saying I never write reviews, none the less for a doctor. However I saw dr cohen recently and I wanted to share my experience. I had a severe headache while I was at my sons baseball game. Unfortunately I was coaching so I tried to stay and manage but I eventually couldn’t and almost passed out. I have never had a headache like this prior. I went to the local hospital and they essentially dismissed me. They told my wife they thought it was stress. Stress?... I was have been on vacation for a month and was having the time of my life coaching my sons game?? Anyway as I was still in pain and I made an apppintment with an outpatient neurologist. I have always had luck with smg docs and thought they offered a step up in terms of care. Dr cohen saw me that day. He was very concerned with the symptoms and also put myself and my wife at ease with his demeanor. He said something didn’t add up and asked questions the er didn’t. to look into what he called an acute neurological issue and a potential dissection he sent me to the imaging center that day and literally called me himself later in the day. Apparently one of my neck vessels had torn… nuts right. He needed to put me on a blood thinner for months. The care he offered and the correct diagnosis he made in light of the er missing it, my wife and I can honestly say he saved my life. I am also surprised by the review prior as I cant imagine a more thorough doctor that also explained everything to me step by step with a long term plan.

A doctor who genuinely seemed to care about what I had to say. Definitely refreshing. Office staff was very attentive. Nicole was amazing.
