I honestly think this office is losing more potential patients from every bad review they get/in office experience as well. Their reputation is slacking.. They act desperate to pressure one person to spend ridiculous money, instead of even hearing what someones saying.
For example, i have a milimeter gap in my front teeth and the rest are straight from braces. I wanted bonding since i dont smoke or drink, occasional coffee and more inexpensive option. I go there to get caught up on records with a 100 dollar cleaning and xray special since i have no dental insurance. That went ok.. The hygenist was a bit stiff.. Be ready for excess amounts of water spraying on your face. She said "you didnt pay for this part" idk what it meant but w.e.
My giant issue was the part when i kindly and thourghly explained what i wanted done, that my teeth are straight healthy and i just want to small gap bonding. He examined my teeth, "well the problem with that blah blah, asking me if i got my teeth whitened if i would like the gap." he cut me off completely about bonding and rambled about stuff and options that were beyond uncalled for. He ended up just only talking and trying to sell me a whole mouth of lumineers. I literally kept explaining that i want my teeth to look like when i got my brayces off except without gap. He wasnt understanding and ignoring me completely and rambling about lumineers. I was very discouraged when he said im giving you homework to think at home how you want your teeth to look. What..really???!!!!!! And the receptionist starts calcuating the cost per tooth to 1,700 out of nowhere. Im like.. I want the bonding ,thats way out of range and i want my teeth not shells. She then tries to convince me of carecredit and says my gap is huge and bonding will make my teeth look big and that it breaks blah blah blah. I left crying all the way home borderline infuriated.
2 days later im in a different office and guess what! The bonding is easy to do in my situation and the doctor listened to me right away and thank the lord..didnt talk about veneers. He even gave me a demo on how it would look.. My teeth looked the same as when i got my brayces off. The gap is only a milimeter. They are nothing but lumineer sales people that act careless about your needs dont listen and go off topic.. Saying you need things that you dont. Its all a trick, DONT GO DONT DO IT. I did not read all these reviews before i went. Take in mind that im extremely easy going and patient but it was just rude to try to tell me i needed all that work done if i wanted the gap closed, i obviously couldnt afford 12,000+ what the....

Most unprofessional dental office I have ever been to. At my first visit they scheduled an expensive periodontal cleaning for my newly diagnosed"gum disease". I paid them in advance the required co pay and was told the procedure would be per certified by my insurance company. When I returned weeks later for the procedure the temporary hygienist asked me why I was having this done I had no signs of any gum disorder! Months later I receive a bill for an additional $100. No explanation just a bill. I called a their explanation is just "you owe it". Upon further investigation my insurance company had refused to pay for the procedure as they deemed it was unnecessary. They never submitted the pre certification to the insurance company until months after the procedure was done. Since then two other reputable dentists have confirmed that there was no need for such a procedure to be done. I have a refused to pay for this and they threaten me monthly with collection. WORST DENTIST EVER!!!!!!

My review: I regret ever going to this dentist. Severe lack of explanation after initial consultation. Never mentioned they were giving me the more expensive white fillings. During one visit a female dentist remarked that she couldn't perform everything scheduled because "someone marked down the wrong tooth." This same dentist flew out of the office before I even walked out of the door after my procedure. Billing was a nightmare - I am aware that it can be tough to know exactly what insurance company's will pay, but there were times when before I left from one visit, the receptionist would call my insurance company and figure out exactly what I would owe - then I'd come in the next time and the amount they would ask for would be a totally different number. Staff was very cold and rude - on one occasion I was in the waiting room for over 25 minutes before a "can we help you?" Simply amazing. There are so many dentists out there. Stay away from Dr. Sean McIntyre and Advance Dental.

Claimed to perform root canal on a tooth and supposedly put on a permanent crown. As I continued to have trouble with this tooth and this office I went to a new dentist. Dr. McIntyre's office staff refused to release my records. Rude, unprofessional - hung up on me! Eventually agreed to send records for a charge of $25 - sent copies of old xrays, not treatment records. Told my new dentist's office that it was "not their policy to release treatment records" (even with the proper release forms and payment!)No emergency answering service or coverage. Only in office Mon - Thurs until 3 pm. I now have to pay again for the same treatment and get a lawyer to get my own dental records. The absolute worst!!!!!

SURPRISE!!! You're not getting a filling, you are getting a Root Canal! Temp crown... oh wait your Insurance is maxed out. Hmmmm let me see, let's hold the permanent crown hostage until you pay the full amount, EVEN though we have had $$160.00 of your money sitting here on credit for your account for over 6 months. Oh yeah and let me not let you know about the cost you will have to pay at all prior to the work being performed. Oh yeah and let us wait until you have taken your Antibiotics and juggled your work day to get to the office on time, before we tell you anything about the bill. There is so much more to write on here but I think I will save it for the ADA. PS... DO NOT GO TO THIS DENTIST!!

Office refused to give advance quotes on work nor procedure codes to allow me to check with insurance company before work was performed. I was not informed that there was a charge to correct work not properly done. Refused to give us x-rays and records when we wanted to change dentists without additional cost to us. Nasty staff. Doctor wouldn't get on phone to speak with dissatisfied patient. Billed excessively for work that was unsatisfactory. Filling fell out twice and I was billed for both visits, other procedures than filling...shouldn't have to pay for work that doesn't hold. Appointments with dental hygientist were broken three times at my inconvenience due to no show by hygientist.

Care was adequate, although not spectacular. Billing issues overcharged for the work performed.
