Dr. Dykeman has been my family doctor for years. I have gone to him since I was a child and now my children see him. I am very grateful for the care he provides my children. He truly cares for their well-being, and he always makes time to listen to my concerns. He will always ask about me and the other members of my family. I feel privileged to have him as my family physician.

This doctor is alway in a rush as time is $$$. His new office staff are unhelpful. Stay away

I have been going to Dr Dykeman for about 20 years now and he has never been anything but wonderful and helpful to me. He looked after a knee injury of mine and referred me to a specialist when other docs told me I would simply have to "live with it".

I have been a patient of Dr Dykeman as has my family for many years. Always treats us with respect & listens. Sometimes in more of a hurray than others by does almost always refer to a specialist when any sort of major concern. Happy to come back on the follow-ups as on more than one occasion the problem was not resolved & could have become worse. All in all Dr Dykeman is a very good Dr. Wait times are what they are everywhere & fees are standard.

I have been seeing him since I was young and have no problem talking to him about more than one issue per visit. I find them very helpful for getting in for last minute appointments when needed. Appointments usually run about 15 minutes off. I do find he sometimes seems a bit rushed. Extra fees for forms and such are rather expensive but have found other doctors to charge around the same amount.

Don't ask to be referred to a specialist..uless you are willing to pay a fax fee. What happened to the old method of the receptionist or doctor calling and making the appointment. Doctors make enough from medicare for the appointment..they should not be charging all these fees!!!

His only concern is money, I would not let him treat my dog. He got so bad over the years that I filed complaint with the College of Physicians and Surgeons and yes everyone not given proper care physicall/emotionally has the right and should file their complaints.

My parents use this doctor. I have no idea why they are still with him though. He prescribes you meds and then the next time you go in for a refill he'll ask why you are on them. He has prescribed my mother drugs that can't be taken together. My father's family has a history of prostate cancer and when my father's results came back high he just shrugged it off. Turned out he had prostate cancer. Thank goodness he survived it. I could add more but I think you get the idea...seek out another doctor.

Removed a mole on my arm. When I went into his office a few days later to have the stitches removed he wanted to know what was wrong. He diagnosed my mother with bursitis - she had breast cancer. Stay away!

I gave up sports after high school because he put into practice an $80 fee for 'sports medical clearances' which aren't covered by medicare. The damn visit is covered, so why does he get to double dip? I needed to see him last week, the office was closed, called first thing this morning (first day it was open) and was told the earliest I can get in is the middle of next week. I lost a job once because I refused to pay $20 for a medical note from him even though it was his recomendation to stay home. He is more concerned that you book a follow up appointment, then he is treating you, or actually examaning you. He writes perscriptions for every little thing, but won't physically diagnos you. I was told to get another job, when I went in thinking I may be allergic to deisel fumes, and that it was causing me issues, rather then him getting me to book test. Turns out I was allergic, my company moved my office, and my health reurned. If I had another choice, I wouldn't even go to him.
