Dr. Leung was a competent , knowledgeable professional. We will miss her very much. Best of luck in Vancouver!

Awful to work with. Dismissive, arrogant, will not listen to patient (who has an extensive history with many specialists), nor acknowledge health care plans when making a diagnosis. Typically wait 10-15 minutes per visit. I wouldn't know what her knowledge is since we only get told what we have, and when it doesn't work (which has happened many times) something else is prescribed. You have to demand tests be prescribed, as she will not voluntarily send you out for them. Unreliable and very difficult to accommodate since her hours are all over the place. Typically you cannot get an appointment within 2 weeks. Her old staff was excellent, but the new staff is rude and unaccommodating.

Our family of four appreciates having Dr. Leung as our family G.P. Here are just some of the reasons we appreciate her dedication to us and her other patients in Saugeen Shores:
PROS
-She's a physician that listens to your health concerns and actually shows she cares
-She is EXCEPTIONAL with young children (our daughters are 2 1/2 years old and 6 months)
-Provides support and advice (from a mother's and latest medical research perspective).
-Encouraged me to breastfeed our daughters while they were receiving their 2, 4, 6 month shots. This provided comfort for the girls and interestingly enough, I felt better knowing I could calm them...now if only there was a remedy for my husband getting his needles!
-We are quickly seen by her on appointment day
-Unlike previous reviews, we really appreciated her former office professional (we ALWAYS found her to be friendly and great with our kids). Her new frontline staff member has always greeted us nicely and was great with our little one at her 4 and 6 month shots.
-Dr. Leung only took a 6 month maternity leave so that she could care for her patients (any parent can appreciate that sacrifice).

CONS
-It can be challenging to book appointments due to her limited clinical hours; however, this has not been the case because our family can be VERY flexible with our appointment dates and times.

My family has been with her since she moved here and we have always been happy with her and her staff. She is great with our young children.

Dr Leung took a look at my rash on my chest over a year ago. She claimed it was from sweating. Over a year later I found out I have ring worm as it has transferred all over my body in the matter of a week.

Dr Leung is a good young doctor when she is there. Takes long vacations without replacing herself. She is very nice and good with kids. The main reason I left is the Scottish secretary. As someone mentioned above she is one of the rudest people I have ever met. She has once swore at me in front of my kids. We have had 3 run ins with this secretary and decided this Dr is not worth putting up with the secretary . It's a shame because Dr Leung is decent and she is young and probably could have doctored my two toddlers for many years.

She was helpful and showed personal interest in me and my children. She was very knowledgable and if she was unsure about something she did the research and contacted me quickly with the proper knowledge. My family is very happy with her as our new doctor.
