Dr. Hamstra really listens and answers any questions I have. She cares about fixing the problem, not just throwing meds at it. Dr. Ruff and the staff are amazing as well!

Dr.Hamstra is very knowledgable and answered all of my questions during my visit. Although I felt like she rushed through my visit. On the other hand I have NEVER been so disgusted with front office staff in my life! Trying to call multiple times to schedule an appointment (no one would call me back) and whenever a certain person did call me back or I talked to her on the phone; she was absolutely rude as can be! Working in the medical field I could not stand the attitude she gave to me over the phone AND in person! Dr.Hamstra was wonderful but due to the difficulties "Belinda" at the front desk put me through with trying to make an appointment and her horrible and disgusting attitude I will never be returning to this clinic. Furthermore, when the medical assistant came in to draw my blood she was also rude. Not only did she not ask my name or birthdate before she jabbed a needle into my arm but she did not have the decency to even introduce herself. I don't think I need to explain more why I won't be a returning patient.

I've had Dr. Hamstra as a PC for several years now. She's fine if you just need a quick strep test and antibiotics or an annual (female) but anything more complicated and just doesn't seem to have the knowledge. She is extremely conservative with any type of medications to include simple muscle relaxants or sleep aids. I recently saw her for neck and upper back pain (probably from sleeping on my pillow wrong) and she gave me 28 of the minimum dosage, which when I read about the medication online, this wouldn't even last three days. She expected it to last a week. She took me to a room with a electronic back roller that was (not kidding) a 1970's model and then tried to do chiropractic work on me. This is likely the last time I will go to this doctor.
