I brought my two children to Dr. Santoro. She is wonderful to them and the results so far are amazing, even if their overbite was so large that we had despaired it could be fixed!! I truly appreciated that during the pandemic the office has been scheduling only one person at the time to limit exposure of children to infections. This practice really has patients as top priority, and Dr. Santoro has extensive experience with difficult patients and she will always be sincere and honest in her evaluations.

I was a patient of Dr. Santoro for a few years, about five years ago when I had braces. Recently, I went to another practice to get opinions on whether or not I would need jaw surgery. They were incredibly pushy, trying to start the process that day. Upon revisiting Dr. Santoro, she immediately saw that my jaw had not even stopped growing, and explained the surgery, before, during, and after, as well as all of the risks the other one glossed over. In short, she is an excellent ortho whom I trust

Money hungry. Will double book without telling you and keep you waiting forever despite booking months in advance. Very unstable Dr. with constant turnover. And, she was verbally insulting her receptionist in front of patients!!!

An excellent doctor who really cares about children and is very honest about the real need for orthodontia. Our youngest son is really afraid of dentists but loves to go to this office. The treatment coordinator was also very helpful with our insurance.

We are great fans of Dr. Santoro's work! We were lucky with my other sons, but my youngest daughter was growing with very narrow jaws and her teeth were biting in a crossed bite.
She had to wear an expander to make room for all teeth. The tricky part is that she was really afraid of dentists and bringing her to the office was anything but easy-peasy. She relented only because her best friend goes to that office and kindly offered to come with us. The teeth are now growing very rapidly, and even our dentist has commented on the great quality of Dr. Santoro's work. The doctor and the staff soft-pedalled the whole experience and somehow charmed my daughter into cooperation. I was also impressed by the medical attitude at this office. The doctor clearly cares about her profession, and being myself in the marketing consulting business I can tell that no one is trying to sell me anything when I visit with my daughter.

We are very happy with the treatment we are receiving. Dr. Santoro is very competent and also very patient with my child, who has very low tolerance for medical treatment in general. The family dentist strongly recommended her office to us, because it is not the usual run of the mill, in-and-out type of practice and pays due attention to each patient. Many of my friends come to this practice, and are happy with results and the overall experience. I was quite pressured for a while by a neighbor to switch to another orthodontist, but later discovered that they were receiving a discount themselves for referring patients to their own doctor. I am happy not to ever have witnessed such a practice at Dr. Santoro's office.

My two girls have been going to Dr. Santoro was several years. I agree with the previous reviewer from Aug 10 2015. She has a passive aggressive personality. She can become hostile if you asked her too many questions. She also is not flexible about scheduling appointments. My youngest daughter will have her braces off soon and then I wish to never see her again in my life!!

Terrible experience. Wish I had read reviews and put stock in them prior to bringing my kids here. When talking to our Dentist about how unhappy I was w Dr Santoro, I was told they hear that often. Dr. Santoro was repeated rude and disrespectful to me when voicing concerns about my daughter's treatment on several occassions. I was belittled and told I was not an orthodontist as she repeatedly referenced her published papers and degrees instead of discussing my concern w my daughter's treatment. My way or the highway sort of mentality. Braces broke constantly. After 2 yrs and $5,800 later my daughter's braces came off...turns out, prematurely. Teeth are crooked on bottom and bite is misaligned. Consulted another ortho. In order to properly fix her bite, she will require an addition 2 yrs in full braces, a cost of several thousand dollars and 4 extractions. Less costly and less intrusive options available but not w the same result. It is not right. Pulled my second daughter from Santoro's practice after "phase 1" and prior to braces. Did not want to give this woman another dime! My younger now sees a wonderful ortho also in Acton. The two practices are like night and day. Not a single thing has broken in a year and we are spoken to kindly and respectlyfully and her treatment was discussed in depth. All questions answered and options discussed fully and professionally. Please do your homework!! ****pls note that I gave staff a 1 purely based on Dr Santoro. The other ladies in the office are great. No complaints there.*****

Dr. Santoro has treated my three kids with AMAZING results! She is nice, knowledgeable and very honest. The staff is friendly and always available for emergencies, and the lady at the front is VERY patient both with the children and the parents. We are very happy at that office, I will start my own treatment as soon as my kids get their braces off. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Dr. Santoro!!! I went to two orthodontists when I was a teen, I'm now taking our son to Dr. Santoro (driving way out of our way) and she is phenomenal!!! I am really surprised by some of the other ratings because I could not imagine having a better experience than we've had with Dr. Santoro. Our son's mouth is responding better than anticipated to his expander. She even pointed out that the permanent wire I have had for decades has been doing more harm than good (to the rear teeth not held by the wire) and removed it for me, which has been so beneficial for my gums, too, which much prefer a removable nighttime retainer. I would like to have an orthodontist closer to home for greater convenience but am sticking with Dr. Santoro because I am just so impressed with her!
