I was referred to this family physician with “dermatology training” for a mole I was concerned about. After looking at the mole he told me it was normal for this mole to evolve at my age. And then changed his mind saying in his professional opinion it had to be removed right away even though I asked if it would be appropriate to watch it which he said no. Without any explanation he removed my mole and sent me on my way in about 10 minutes. When I asked if it would leave a scar he said “the amount of scarring will depend on how well you care for it”. I was then told by the nurse to cover the DISSOLVABLE stitches with a bandaid and was sent home with a form that told me to “care for until healed” (?). After two weeks passed my sutures had not dissolved in the slightest. I called the nurse and she said they should’ve dissolved a week ago. So either NON dissolvable stitches were used or the nurse failed to mention that if the sutures didn’t dissolve in the first week to get them removed because they will botch the incision. I got them removed from a different trusted physician who gave me plenty of tips to help heal this massive botched scar. I will no longer be seeing this physician.

I actually saw him in Winnipeg, not Montreal. I think this profile needs to be updated. But he was able to address my skin problems. I am very satisfied with his services.

He was the best md i have had. He was always thoughtful and took his time listening. I always felt I could trust him. I'm very sad he changed location.

J'avais un rendez vous pour faire remplir un formulaire (425$ pour 1h) et je suis sorti avec une consultation (335$ pour 30 min.) . Ils mon confirmés lorsque j'ai pris le rendez-vous que si je paye 425$ je sortirai de là formulaire rempli. Ils ne sont pas honnête, je me suis fait volé et arnaqué.

He's one of the best Doctor I've ever had and I'm happy that I found him as my doctor. Dr. Oberman helped me a lot with my multiple health problems, not all doctors like him, he's very knowledgeable and sincere to his patients. This DOCTOR is HIGHLY recommended BUT unfortunately the STAFFS are NOT the greatest.

It just makes me feel good as a woman to know there are people like Dr Oberman who go into medicine. Courtesy & respect are always palpable in my meetings with him.
