Dr Gillian was totally unaware of what tests he ordered or their results. I had to tell him and then he looked it up and said oh yeah but i had to alert him to the findings and what he recommended i do. He forgot what medical conditions he was treating me for. He was also unaware on the results of my most recent labs. I felt he was not prepared for my visit. Great bedside manner but i know more about all of my tests than he did.

Dr Gillin misdiagnosed my mother despite three months worth of symptoms and as a result suffered terrible, unnecessary pain, was prescribed incorrect meds and died two weeks after I brought her to another Gastro for a second opinion. Her cancer had advanced so far undiagnosed that there was nothing that could be done. It was her unnecessary suffering and his unsympathetic staff that I will never forget! SMG is horrible!
