This Doctor should not be practicing anymore. I believe he is too old and shows no care for your concerns and rushes you out the office after he bills you. This is my first pregnancy so there were a lot of things I did not know to ask and he never explained it to me. Half of the time he would tell me things to worry me and never really explained how the test work that is why I chose to switch doctors mid pregnancy. It would take him 3 weeks to get a result back to me and I felt like it was putting my baby boy at a greater risk. if you want a doctor who will answer all your concerns and give you some ease this is not the doctor. Also the office hours are ridiculous they dont open until 3 PM and close promptly at 5 PM. It really sucks...

Dr.Hochman always has a hearing aid hanging around his neck but he seldom puts it on. So he can't hear what your concern is. I was 7 week pregnant and went to his office for an ultrasound. I asked him not to do a pelvic exam. He did not put hearing aid on that day so he did not hear what I said. He did the pelvic exam anyway. Next day I had profuse bleeding and passed a blood clot about the size of a small egg and had to go to ER. I eventually miscarried the baby a week later. I had a D&C and had the fetal tissue sent to a pathology lab for chromosome analysis. The report came back saying the fetus was a normal female. I am in the process of contacting a lawyer. And TWO more warnings: his office's ultrasound machine is a crap. The figure is so poor that doctor can't tell if the baby is developed as it should or not. And do not let medical assistants draw your blood. They will pick an opened needle and draw your blood without cleaning your arm first. The lab technician is ok though.

I have been a patient of doctor Hochman for over 10 years. He has delivered all three of my children. I wouldn't trust going to anyone else because of his experience in obstetrics/gynecology. I find Dr. Hochman to be extremely knowledgeable about various medical topics.

I have been going to this doctor for about 4 years. He is extremely through and explains everything to the T from a risk perspective. He often makes funny jokes that are not that funny when you have a recurring issue. He is getting old and wears a hearing aid. I often question his knowledge and skill regarding new procedures like laparoscopy and robotic myomectomy. He is old school and does not do some of the newer procedures that younger doctors perform this is why I switched to another doctor this year. His staff is very nice and they remember their regular patients. It is easy to get an appointment and the wait is rarely long to see him. If you have a problem that requires detail he will often meet with you in his office to have a nice talk about it.
