I found Dr Cabrera to be very professional and empathetic.

This doctor has worn out equipment, a messy office, in a dark, gloomy basement , unhelpful staff ( whose room has a steel barrier to prevent patients from entering) and is generally weird. He prescribed all sorts of medications that were not covered by OHIP, that I later discovered were unnecessary, and sent me to another ophthalmologist for cataract surgery , this second ophthalmologist said that no surgery was needed. I would never go back to Dr Cabrera!

All complaints about his rudeness, ridiculous signage thru-out his office, his inability to keep good staff are very obvious. The offices are untidy and smell of mold. In general, he simply is not a doctor to be recommended. He is knowledgeable, but a good doctor has to be more than . I too wonder just how much $$ he is billing to our government? Hard to rate his staff as he does not keep them for long.

2 1/2 hour wait . Office staff or lack thereof. Leave your health card on a table and wait.

I have been to a few Ophthalmologist's in the last 10 years and I can honestly say that this one takes the cake...I feel extremely uncomfortable like he was in a bad my first visit was very short with me even as proceeded to explain something about my eyes he cut me off and told me to stop talking and made me leave out the side door and this replayed on my next visit so I will definitely be getting another referral to another doctor
