Couldn’t care less about patient concerns or feelings. He was very Quick to move on to visit with other patients and avoid my questions!

Never saw Dr Abdelkarim until 5 minutes before colonoscopy! Never seen him for follow up visits, only saw his physician assistant! I still have pain, was never helped by going to this doctor!

This doctor was awesome. Great staff, good bedside manner, and he was pretty thorough where other doctors were not. He was busy but I feel that I got enough time with him.

The office staff was very nice. They didn't just sit behind a closed window, the girls made small talk while I filled out my forms. Waited about 20minutes which is pretty decent I think. Dr A knew his stuff and even gave me samples to try before I went and spent money on an Rx that might or might not have actually worked. I thought that to be helpful. Overall I felt comfortable with the workers and doctor.

My cardiologist recommended Dr. Abdelkarem because I was having bloating. My first appt he checked for bacteria and gluten in his office. No prob w/ either. Sent me off for blood work. Told to make appt for 4 weeks. Never heard about blood tests til my appt. At appt. was told by Dr. That I had minor to minimal allergies to 6 different foods. No suggestions how to deal with them NOTHING, IT gets worse from here with my next appt made for a bout with diaherra. He made me feel helpless. Left in tears. This is my first complaint about a doctor or professional ever.

This Dr. is by far one of the rudest Doctor's I have ever met. My initial consultatioou whn was for a colonoscopy. I was placed in a room and received all the information about the surgery from an assitant. The day of the procedure I went to San Antoinio Surgical Center once again extremely pleasant experience. However, I can't tell you who performed my procedure. After the procedure was completed the Nurse NOT the Doctor advised me of my results and handed me some photo's of my colon.. My husband was waiting in the lobby for an update. He watched various Doctors come out and speak with the families. He NEVER saw the Doctor either. AWFUL experience. No follow up appointment was scheduled either. The procedure took place on May 8, 2013 on May 10, 2013 I called in spoke with the office mgr and expressed my concerns she advised me he would call me to discusse what had happen. To this date May 24,2013 I have not heard from the Doctor nor his staff.

Dr. Abdelkarim is very knowledgeable and thorough. His staff is friendly and helpful. He helped to diagnose my problems quickly. He may not be great with small talk or pleasantries but overall he is good.
