I've been seeing Dr. P for about 5 years for the treatment of lyme, coinfections and mold. I appreciate his integrative approach, and constant research into new scientific developments and treatment approaches. He is highly informed and treats his patients as individually as their particular set of issues, co-infections, and genetics dictate. Unpeeling the many layers can be a frustrating, time consuming process, and Dr. P takes a tough love approach. My advice to anyone seeking help for lyme or mold is always to bring someone with you to your appointments (this is even more important during the first several visits) to take notes for you because you will not remember and the protocols are complicated. His nurse, Suzy, is always available via phone for follow up questions, but if someone can take detailed notes for you, it'll be easier all around. The office has a great staff of caring folks, and they now have a new beautiful infusion room at the new offices in Foster City. I highly recommend Dr. P and his practice.

Very impressed with him. On time. Really knew how to integrate antibiotics with herbs and other alternative tools

Dr. Patel's office staff is unfriendly and inefficent. Furthermore, he did not listen to me and did not have my best interests at heart. He told me that I most certainly had Lyme, when in fact I was only diagnosed with a co-infectant. He refused to treat me effectively: he chastised me, bullied me, did not listen to me and made me feel like I had no input in my health care, whatsoever. He also did not respond to the letter that I sent him regarding how rude his office staff was to me and the major blunders that they kept making regarding my health care. Dr. Patel is the kind of doctor that asks you how you are doing and does not care to hear the answer. I spent well over a thousand dollars seeing him and I warn anyone, who values their health, to think twice about seeking 'treatment' from him.
