I feel incredibly fortunate to have had Jeanette as my midwife for the birth of my son. She was confident in her knowledge, kind, and a solid rock for me when I wasn't sure I'd make it through a long labour. I highly recommend her.

My care was moved to an OBGYN because of complications. Before moving over Jeanette gave me incorrect information (rather than saying she would look into it or deferring) and was insensitive in delivering news regarding test results- both positive and not so positive news. Upon arrival for my second appointment she had not even looked at my file and admitted so. The office was not clean and was overly casual. I so wanted a midwife with this pregnancy and was very disappointed in my short experience with them.

Jeanette and Laura were fantastic throughout my care. Taking time to answer all of our questions. My labour was slow to get going and we called and were assessed in a timely manner. Jeanette was there throughout entire process encouraging me and helping me even when I thought I couldn't continue. I am so glad that I switched over from my doctor to a midwife. It wa s a great experience.

Jeanette is exceptional. As a Naturopathic Doctor specializing in Woman's Health as well, you get tremendous knowledge, warmth and experience. Our third baby had swallowed fluid on the way out, developed pneumonia and was admitted to NICU for 10 days. This was extremely traumatic and scary as we were anticipating going home in 4 hours as with our first two midwife KGH deliveries. Jeanette drove in from Vernon to check on us, answer all questions and decipher the doctors reports. She was a rock during a very emotional time and I am forever grateful for her reassurance, professionalism and caring demeanor. She knew which ball stretches to recommend to get baby's arm to come down prior to delivery (she was kind of stuck for awhile) and used some amazing pressure points on my lower back that were like pressing magic delivery buttons! Love this woman and her intuitive abilities! Thank you for everything Jeanette!!

Found the office to be too casual, with animals everywhere, a bed pan full of pee still in her office while my head lay next to it during examination. Bathroom incredibly dirty. Did not ask if we were ok with a student was just forced onto us. Found them to be very unorganized, and lacking communication. Walked in onetime to be asked if I was still a breech. Given that I hadn't been told I was, I was fairly upset. Comments on my weight gain and looks.

Jeanette and Laura are the absolute best. I have had three babies, one with a doctor, one with another midwife and my last one with Jeanette and Laura. By far the best care I received. They are both lovely, caring women and Jeanette was at my birth and I felt supported and well cared for throughout. I won't be having more babies but if I did I would be calling them again!

I found Jeanette and Laura to be very disorganized, unprofessional, and inconsistent. Their "office" is very casual to the point there's animals all over everything and you walk by piles of garbage.
They steered me wrong on a few tests, didn't seem confident in attending a home birth, and mixed up several appointments.

I am so happy with Jeanette and Laura. I love Jeanette's natural approach to pregnancy and labour and felt that my decisions were respected and agreed with. She is very peaceful and brought joy into the home for a beautiful home birth. I was very confident with her medical skill and knowledge but more importantly for me her holistic approach. I highly recommend her!
