Currently looking to file an official complaint to the ADA&C for Dr Simrit Niijar. Never going back to Gateway Pediatric. This "Dr" left my daughter in pain and crying for unnecessarily removing her tooth.

Our daughter went through and extensive dental procedure under Dr. Niijar's care. She was extremely helpful and compassionate, as were the rest of the staff involved. She checked in with us at key points of the procedure and even followed up that evening to check on our daughter's recovery. We couldn't have received better care, thank you so much!

My daughter has seen her twice now, including once for dental sedation. Dr. Nijjar was professional, thorough and knowledgeable regarding my daughters dental problems and the best way to treat them. My daughter felt 100% comfortable with her and I’m grateful we were referred to her from our regular dentist. We found the perfect Pediatric dentist for her.

Did not feel comfortable with this dentist or her staff. At my first appointment both Dr. Nijar and her team did not introduce themselves (i.e. as the hygienist/dental assistant/dentist) before starting my first cleaning with them. Staff completed cleanings/check ups without asking questions (e.g. forced me into having an x-ray - just pulled machine over and started x-ray procedure without asking if I would like to have one taken or explaining the need to have another x-ray taken in same year). A very uncomfortable, "just a number" experience. Won't be returning to Dr. Nijar.

This dentist did not seem comfortable with what she was doing and seemed to be not confident during the treatment. During the treatment, she rarely asked whether I was comfortable. Also, she came across as if she didn't know how to use some of the equipment and where some of the equipment or material was kept in the dental clinic. Overall, I did not enjoy or feel comfortable during my visit with this dentist.
