Keep Dr Sadlack forever! He is such a good doctor...empathetic, kind, hears patient...and so nice. An asset to Johns Hopkins. A role model for all doctors! The doctor takes such good care of me. I am grateful.

It's a long story but the poly spacer the OS put in during TKR was much too small and resulted in extension and flexion instability. Problem was brought to his attention after about one year, but he could not diagnose the problem. Now, 3 1/2 years later I've had partial revision surgery and the spacer was replaced with one that is 50% thicker. This OS could not explain why the original OS put in such an undersized spacer. The revision surgery was only performed two weeks ago, so I can't tell right now how things will work out, but I am very optimistic. The new OS says that the instability problems have been solved.

Dr. Sadlack answered all of my questions and prepared me mentally for the surgery. Every morning after survey, he was in my room to check on me. He has respect for the nurses and truly cares for his patients. I needed a knee cap in addition to knee replacement; I had a little more pain than normal. Anytime day or night I was able to contact him. He is experienced and has a wonderful bedside manner. I live in South Florida and his expertise was worth the travel time. I need another surgery next year and Dr. Sadlack is my first and only choice.

Because he did not read or check my previous records, his surgery was not done correctly and has caused me pain and discomfort for many years.

Took over former orthopedic surgeon's practice & was completely not prepared. Ran quite late, even though I was 1st or 2nd appointment (and dr. was not in surgery). Knew I had history of at least one current injury, yet said there was definitely nothing wrong with either knee. Knew I was in significant pain but overlooked possibility something was seriously wrong. In actuality, I have one (and possibly two) torn ACLs plus the injury that had been previously reported on MRIs and a fracture. Really, all of the other stuff about the office can be overlooked if he would have caught the ACL damage. Instead, it was me and other physicians insisting on another doctor examining me. Bottom line: get a second opinion and/or avoid. Also, he may have decided ahead of time that I would be a bad surgical candidate because of neuro history and just written me off rather than examine fully or order new films. Terribly disappointed, unfortunately.
