My teeth were always crooked and over lapping. He was able to correct them without pulling any teeth. People now admire my smile, and I feel more confident for work. Dr.LaBruna is a funny guy!

Dr. LaBruna is a great orthodontist, He explained everything so I could understand. My teeth were horrible, now I have a great smile. The staff in the office were also very nicl.

Biography

Dr. Vincent LaBruna was born in New York City, where his father was also an Orthodontist. He graduated New York University Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa in 1982, and graduated New York University Dental School in 1986. He attended a Dental Externship at Memorial Sloan Kettering for Oral Cancers in 1985. Dr. Labruna attended a post-graduate program in Endodontics from 1986 to 1987, then attended Columbia University where he obtained his certificate in Orthodontics in 1989. In 2005 he became a Board-Certified Orthodontist with the American Board of Orthodontics. He has served as an Honorary Police Surgeon with the New York City Police Department. He is also an Honorary Medical Officer with the FDNY. Beginning in 1992, Dr. Labruna worked with the Chief Medical Examiner's Office in New York City in their Dental Forensic Unit and the Anti-Mortem team which included service during 9/11/2001 and Flight 587 in November 2001, and the subsequent recovery efforts. Dr. Labruna has also volunteered and served with Operation Blessing Disaster Services Response Team in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina in 2007. He has served with the Remote Area Medical Volunteer Corp. "RAM" 3 times in Tennessee, and is active with the Monmouth County Cancer Coalition for Oral Cancer detection and the Colgate Bright Smile Bright Futures Dental Van outreach program for children. Dr. Labrune is a life-long member of the Community Mayors for special children, servicing handicapped and special needs children. Currently he is in service on weekends in the Military for the Soldier Readiness Program at Fort Dix and the Army National Guard in Sea Girt, NJ. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists and the New Jersey Dental Association for over 30 years.
