Waited over an hour for a 10 minute consultation where she told me I didn't have acne (I do), didn't take a history, didn't even look at my skin or products and then just shrugged and wrote me a prescription that I didn't fill cause she didn't explain it to me

Terrible and non-professional staff, ugly and dark office and inconvenient location. I had very poor experience with the receptionist

TERRIBLE. DO NOT GO HERE. THE WHOLE STAFF IS JUST TERRIBLE.
First off, they lack professionalism. No introduction; just asks what I'm using.
They evaluated my skin and made me pay for expensive things that DID NOT WORK. MADE ACNE SO MUCH WORSE. They don't care. They really do not. They rush you in and out of the office.
So now, my skin is scarred from that things they have prescribed me and I'm pretty much broke from all the expensive things theyve told me to buy. dont. go. here.

ALSO
when you schedule, they do not call you. You have to remember, there is no check up calls or anything. And they have terrible waiting times. I wait a whole hour for a 20 minute conversation. I wish I never came here. they made my skin so much worse. They know nothing.

Like all the other reviews on the board, Dr wong is nonchalant and cold. She does not care to listen to your concerns but instead she quickly looks at your skin and makes a diagnosis to get you out of the office. The whole time you're there you feel rushed and when you ask a question she's dismissive. It's been 6 months and I still have the same skin condition. I still do not know what's wrong and nothing is getting better. I don't know how dermatologists can get paid so much just to be uncaring and unhelpful to people. Any of these 5 star ratings seem extremely vague and frankly unbelievable since anyone who's actually been a patient of Dr Wong would only experience a big breeze of icy cold indifference.

I got medication from Dr Wong, while she did explain the side effect of it. Nevertheless, after googling the side effect and consulting with my family doctor to confirm, I realized Dr Wong has only given me partial information. She was not interested in listening to my short description of symptoms, and does not have much additional information provided afterward. Lack of social skill, for sure, and does not give me any confidence at all.

I am a teenager with moderate acne. Dr. Wong was unprofessional and non-sympathetic; I say this because she was literally whispering and had poor eye/body contact. It seemed as if she just wanted to have my appointment over with. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure she knows her information about acne and different treatments, however, she did not bother to listen to my history with my skin and rushed to diagnose me. Dr. Wong continued to tell me that the reason a certain gel didn't work, was because I PROBABLY USED IT WRONG. Dr. Wong's assumptions made me very frustrated and makes me want to find a different dermatologist and I definitely would not recommend her. Additionally, after being requested to bring in the products I have tried, she did not take one look at them when I insisted to show her. Although I have not tried the medication yet, and even if it works, I will hesitate to go back as being in her office dampens my mood greatly.

Dr. Wong helped me uncover high levels of DHEAs which not even my family doctor was able to answer my question all these years, but it has much implications to heart/hormones. It was the first test she did. Staff is very helpful in rearranging appointments. She speaks cantonese and english, not sure if that is helpful for anyone to know. She listens to all my quesitons and takes time to explain what it means, and would make further referral if required. I highly recommend her.
