Our daughter has been very ill and has a history of serious health problems. She has had strep throat several times in the past and knows when she has one again. After 4 days of trying to take care of it on her own, she got worse. She went to the Kaslo ER. She was first examed by the nurse who looked at our her throat, remarked that, indeed, it looked like step throat and that she should have come in sooner as it appeared that the infection had spread to her sinuses. When Dr. Johannsen looked at her throat, she said it was a minor sore throat and that she should not have bothered to come to the ER even though she had been instructed to by the clinic staff. When our daughter complained that she had a severe headache, ear ache along with the sore throat, the dr said her ears were fine, but hadn't even checked in her ears. The dr said she should go to the drugstore and buy Tylenol Cold and Flu tablets, even though our daughter told her she has a bad reaction to Tylenol. Unsatisfactory
