This office has improved a lot over the years. Dr. Cox has always been very knowledgeable and helpful. Her staff is excellent and they seem to have listened to a lot of patients' feedback over the years. This practice has definitely made a positive difference in my life.

She was the first in NC to do botox, I believe. Went to her 3 or 4 times. Extremely chilly manner which is fine, but I had uneven results. Much too quick with the needle. I have found much better for less $ She is a good marketer, I'll give her that.

Dr. Cox is a character, simply put. She's a great doctor though and definitely has good creativity and progressive dermatological options available in her practice and community work. However, she has her moods from time to time.

I saw Dr. Cox eight years ago and agree that she did appear a little chillier then than some doctors. However, I do think she's warmed considerably. She's very helpful and patient. I went to her for a problem from three years ago (two visits - she altered her procedure on the second to make sure it took) and she fixed her former partner's work - charging nothing, and the treatment she performed worked. She also explained the procedure I was interested in twice - patiently and thoroughly. I am still nervous about the procedure because of the newness - and because the doctors cannot be wholly subjective. But Dr. Cox comes highly recommended as the best from a Duke dermatologist I esteem, and she has been excellent from my experience. Good luck!

Dr Cox diagnosed a melanoma on my shoulder. She referred me to her husband, Dr Finn, a WONDERFUL plastic surgeon, for removal of the cancer cells and I saw HIM for my follow-up. Six months later I returned to Dr Cox for a full body scan as per her instructions. I was left sitting in a cold room wearing a thin cloth gown for 20 minutes. When she finally arrived, she never looked at me, just said, "I see you had a melanoma. Who diagnosed that"? She NEVER even looked at my chart before entering the room to KNOW that SHE was the one who diagnosed my melanoma!! I said, "YOU diagnosed it"! I later wrote and told her that I would NEVER see her again! She doesn't even care enough about her patients to get to know them or their cases. SHAMEFUL!!!

I have been under Dr. Cox's care for 6 or 7 years and I have found her to be very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and showing a very high degree of expertise in her specialty. I have complete confidence in her opinion, advice and treatments.

Been going to her for botox, fillers, facial laser treatments for over 10 years. I now look at least 15 years younger than my age of 62. She's wonderful!

I can't comment too much about Dr. Cox since I only saw her once at this factory/office, and that was on my initial visit. Even when I was being told I had skin cancer, a nurse called and told me and I never actually "saw" Dr. Cox about it. Also, the office in general was pretty disorganized with "lost" messages and lack of communication from one person to the next. I even had the receptionist (young girl, no medical training) trying to advise me on what I should or shouldn't be doing with my prescriptions.
