By a blessing discovered an thoracic ascending aortic aneurysm at the age of 45. Dr Coselli was recommended by every Dr I asked. His staff got me in quickly and within 3 weeks he replaced aorta with a Dacron graft and also inputted a mechanical heart valve. I could not be more happy with the job his surgical team and staff did. Very professional and confident in there abilities. I would highly recommend.

After an aortal dissection and ascending aneurysm repair in 1994 at a local hospital,,,fast forward 18 yes...in distress I go to same hospital and after cat scan, I'm flying to Houston and Dr Coselli, he replaced my ascending aorta, aortic valve and aortic root..my previous surgery gave a lot of concern and he never batted an eye....I owe my life to god,, then Dr Coselli, and Dr Cosar. I'm forever in debt to these men..

Dr. Coselli is absolutely the best cardiovascular surgeon in the world! He has performed two aortic aneurysm surgeries (abdominal in 2001 and thoracic in 2007) on me. I was referred to Dr. Coselli by my surgeon in MS in 2001 when the repair of my aortic aneurysm also required reconstruction of the arteries to my kidneys. Dr. Coselli and nursing staff were very attentive in the preliminary interview and answered all questions very candidly. My thoracic surgery was one in which my doctor in MS had told me that there was nothing that anyone could do to repair the aneurysm due to its location in the arch of the aorta. I contacted Dr. coselli's office, and they immediately set up an appointment for me to come out to Houston. Dr. Coselli again explained that he could repair this aneurysm; however, he would have to cut the nerve to my vocal cord, and my speech would be hoarse-like. I thought that was a small price for the gift of life. It has been 6 years, and I am healthy and thriving!

Went in when my heart aortal heart valve became defective. Apparently this has a high chance of also causing an anurysm and this one did. Instead of a bypass along with replacing the heart valve he instead used a new treatment and sleeved the aorta. This was in 2009 still healthy and doing great. He is the best at what he does and this is from other competing surgeons who I know. The only downside is that he is also extremely in demand and is going to get you back to your normal cardio Doctor very quickly.
