Dr. Umama is the best! He's always giving good advice and is very professional along with his staff. Very friendly as well. He is hands down the best obgyn I've ever had. I recommend him to everyone!

Initially, Dr. Umana and his staff seemed very nice. The problem came when something went wrong in the 34th week of my pregnancy. Despite the advice of the hospital's neonatologist, who told me the meds Dr. Umana was wanting me to take would seriously harm my baby, Dr. Umana insisted I take them. Long story short, I was prepped for an emergency C-section when Dr. Umana said he wouldn't do the delivery unless I signed an agreement to have a tubal ligation during the C-section. I said I didn't want one, but he said if I didn't he wouldn't do the emergency C-section. For the sake of my baby, I reluctantly agreed. After surgery, Dr. Umana withheld pain meds for several hours. Finally, in the middle of the night, he came to my room and said because I didn't take the meds (which would have hurt my baby) I almost KILLED my baby and he "should have made my husband do the C-section!" It was a nightmare!!! I legally stand behind this review and feel my experience with him needs to be shared.

Caring professional and friendly staff and Doctor. Very kind and listens. Prescriptions sent on time. Everything is done electronically. They call you back on time.
