I have previously left a five star review for Denzel and his staff, but unfortunately due to all the new laws and regulations he is no longer able to treat patients as they need to be treated. It took my husband going into the office to get clarification on why my treatment was changing and my medicine being pulled back to a point I'm in constant pain. As a general practitioner he is a good doctor, so if you have a cold, flu or allergies he is as good as many others. If you are a chronic pain patient, don't bother. He is no longer able or willing to maintain any kind of relief through injections or medication. This is not him personally, but the government is causing great doctors to fear loosing their licenses.
His office is generally crowded and wait times can be very long unless you get there at a good time when they are slow. Waiting area is comfortable overall when not filled with screaming children. Staff has become less helpful, but still try very hard to remind kind in face of all the forced changes.
Granted, I'm quite frustrated with the quick change and I'm in extreme pain as I write this, but am still trying to be fair. I don't know why they hired a pain specialist if they have chosen not to treat to pain patients. It's all very confusing and frustrating. I've been seen in this office for the last five plus years with no problems. Have done PT, massage therapy, and many other things as requested with little results. They truly tried to find other ways to treat my pain and did seem to concerned with my health in the past. This is no longer the case.
Again, if you are wanting to be treated for standard illness then this is a good walk-in facility to go to, if you are seeking any kind of pain go elsewhere. Where? Don't know yet, looks as if I will be spending the rest of my life in pain ranging from 6-9 on the pain scale.
