Dr, Izquierdo did a shoulder replacement In July 2018. He is friendly and takes his time with you answering all questions. I looked into several other dr. who do shoulder replacement and they all said I would have to be in a sling and NOT drive a car for 6 weeks. Dr. Izquierdo Told me I would be able to do that in 3 weeks. He was right!!!! And I had very little pain after the surgery. I was very pleased with him.

In my 74 years I have ( Unfortunately ) had several orthopedic surgeries. Primarily knee surgeries. They have gone well. I am familiar as to what a GREAT experience should look like. Dr. Izquierdo was recommended by both my primary and ortho docs as "This is the doctor I would see if I (They) needed a shoulder surgery" (quote).
I needed a right shoulder joint replacement. From the moment I met Dr. Izquierdo I felt comfortable. He is confident to the core and pleasant to work with. His staff knows him well and work in full concert with him. From start to finish this entire experience was superb!! Not one bump in the road.
I am more than excited with the outcome - I AM ELATED!!! My right shoulder feels strong and works like original equipment. I VERY HIGHLY recommend him. Jim N.

After eight short weeks of having a shoulder surgery I was back to no restrictions. Have no doubts Dr. Izquierdo is one of the best!

Very unhappy with his bed side manner. Comes across as arrogant.

Dr (and I use the term loosely) Izquierdo is an egotistical surgeon who thinks only of himself and his bottom line and not the patient and the suffering he causes by his calousness and ego. He didn't take time in surgery to look at the situation and destroyed my arm and shoulder causing constant pain and lack of use for over 3 years now. PLEASE stay away from this man - there are so many other really good, caring and conscientious surgeons out there.
