Bad outcome, has other bad outcomes as well, if he is not qualified to perform a procedure he does so anyway so he can learn on his patients. He believes he is a good person, that should tell you enough about him, huge ego, and will do anything to protect his reputation including most likely whitewashing bad outcomes to his colleagues.

I have known Dr. Ohaegbulam for three years since he operated on my neck. He has been helping me with issues related to my back. We have been communicating via the patient portal. He responds quickly and thoroughly. He explains his thought process effectively.

I suffered with spinal stenosis for many years both in my neck and lower back. Last November 2021 Dr. Ohaegbulam performed an Anterior Discectomy and Fusion for my neck. In March 2022 Dr. Ohaegbulam performed a L4-5 Laminectomy on my lower back. Dr. Ohaegbulam is a kind, humble, amazing person. He has helped me with such awful pain, and I am extremely grateful. I thank God often for him in my life. I do highly recommend this surgeon. I am a 63-year-old married man, with 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

I suggest you thoroughly scour all of the websites offering reviews on this doctor. There is a consistent theme of: Poor aftercare, not dealing with bad outcomes, various bad outcomes, and being extremely inconsiderate. I had surgery and had a bad outcome, they do not care and I had to find another doctor to fix his mistakes. He is inexperienced. Go to MASS general they are better from what I hear.

When I consulted with Dr. Ohaegbulam initially I was unable to stand or walk for more than 15 minutes without significant pain in my back and legs. He explained my options clearly and set expectations as to what surgery could accomplish. Dr. Ohaegbulam performed my fusion surgery in February of 2019 and, just over a year later, I am pain free and able to enjoy walking, hiking and other physical exercise that I had not been able to engage in for almost 10 years. Spine surgery is significant surgery and the recovery period can be difficult but, thanks to the exceptional skill of Dr. Ohaegbulam and the great care of his staff, my results have been nothing less than life-changing. Dr. Ohaegbulam is a tremendous surgeon and a respectful, compassionate and kind human being. He was recommended to me by MD's and former patients and now I understand why. The care I received from Dr. Ohaegbulam and his staff, as well as the staff at New England Baptist, was nothing less than exceptional.

Excellent Doctor, staff and experience. I was very anxious and had seen two other surgeons prior to consulting with him. He took the time to review and explain the problems, options, complications and risks. He was very courteous and thorough as was all the staff. He took the time before surgery and then after surgery to talk with us about what to expect and how it went. The 3 level cervical surgery was difficult and recovery slow, but he had explained the process and complications so no surprises. I am very pleased with him, just wish didn't have to have the procedure. I would strongly recommend him and the team at NE Baptist.

Seeing a few reviews that are not positive... omg I cannot stress how amazing Dr. O is and the care I received was top notch! He is one that might suggest weight loss or pain clinic follow up or physical therapy, etc. but that is because he is honest! I might have been told some things I didn't want to hear but other docs didn't tell me these things. Honesty is the best policy! Would never go to another neurosurgeon!

Dr O is incredible. He operatated on my neck and spine. There is no other spine doctor in the world who I would consider except DrOhaeghbulam.
