I went to this doctor when he was about to leave to start his own practice. My 3 1/2 year old daughter had just started wearing glasses about 3 months prior and we were there for a follow-up. My daughter didn't seem to like to wear the glasses and I was worried that maybe the prescription was not quite right...maybe too much or too little. I told him about her problem keeping the glasses on and asked for his opinion to which he replied(while facing his computer)"Well, she needs to wear them". He gave no explanation of how he knew if the prescription was correct and didn't speak to my daughter about why she didn't want to wear them. Then he said he was leaving the practice and we could have her next appointment at that office and my daughter said "Why are you leaving?" and he said "Because I just want to be happy". We DID NOT follow him to his new practice. We found another eye doctor who quickly realized that her prescription was too much for her at that time and she needed to start at a lower prescription and work her way up. She gladly wore the glasses that had the lighter prescription and worked her way up to full strength. I never had a problem with her wearing her glasses again. Dr. Silbert was very unhelpful and dismissed my concerns so I wouldn't recommend him. Maybe he was just grouchy because he was leaving the practice, but it was very unprofessional. He did seem like he was very knowledgeable and capable, but if a doctor doesn't listen to concerns or explain things, what good is that knowledge?

He was wonderful with my children! This was their first appointment, and they were getting antsy with the eye drops and having to wait for the drops to work but he did a very thorough exam and I was relieved to find out they were both normal!

I was well pleased with Dr. Silbert. We started with a doctor in Vegas and had to get a second opinion but when we transferred to Silbert we gained back our confidence. After 6 years of glasses, my daughter has no glasses!

I had Ptosis and needed a blepharoplasty. A friend recommended Dr. Silbert in Lancaster. My initial visit and first impression of Dr. Silbert and his staff left me feeling confident that he would do an excellent job. My eyes look terrific and no longer droop over my pupils. I would recommend him to anyone.

I was so happy with my appointment. I was told by someone else I would have to spend THOUSANDS of dollars for vision therapy, and I didn't even think my kid had a problem. I went to Dr. Silbert's office for a second opinion and was told my daughter needed some glasses which she loves! I feel so much better knowing I do not have to spend lots of money for a problem that doesn't exist.

Very efficient and friendly staff! The exam was very thorough. I had a watery eye which had bothered me for years and nobody was able to fix. Dr Silbert was the first eye doctor to understand and successfully treaty problem!

Very poor staff; doctor not much better. Does not even face you when he does finally speak. Keeps checking his computer. No personality. Overcharges for perscriptions until you complain. Will NEVER go back to this man.

Extremely slow. The staff is rude and ignores patients when they come in. The doctor is not friendly and NEVER on time. If you go there, expect to wait about 2 hours past your scheduled appointment. Then the doctor only spends 5 minutes with you. The office is way too small, not enough chairs for patients and no room to move around. I'm going to look for a new doctor.
