Excellent Doctor that relates extremely well with the patient. Very thorough and takes the time to explain every step of a procedure or surgery. While I was a patient, for a week in the hospital, he visited twice a day and actually sat down and talked to me, not at me.
Without a doubt, I would highly recommend him as a doctor. He is an asset and great advocate to UHC hospital.

WONDERFUL! I can not say enough about Dr. Costa. He figured out what was going on and fixed the problem after several weeks of waiting and being told it was one thing then finding the root to the whole problem. Every aspect was taken care of!! Recommend him to anyone!

Thorough and down to earth Dr. Made sure to communicate in a way a non-Dr could understand. Prompt in writing orders for inpatient care and on making rounds. Very good surgical experience. Would recommend Dr. Costs to anyone!

Really liked Dr. Costa ' s bedside manner. After surgery I had to stay in hospital for a few days. He checked on me everyday and was always attentive. He took care of my needs and made sure my nurses were taking excellent care of me. Would recommend this surgeon to anyone. My scars are smaller than I thought they would be too!

I would recommend Dr. Costa to anyone who needs surgery. He is a great surgeon who is willing to go above and beyond for his patients. He is so very thorough and patient with any and all questions. He sees his patients as though they were family. Top notch doctor.

I saw Dr. Costa in office, and he was very kind and answered all my questions. I was having my follow up from hernia surgery and my scar is so much smaller than I expected and pain level was not bad. Will recommend him to family and friends.

Dr Costa ' s office was running late on appts. When it came my turn, 30 mins after my appt time he took all the time I needed to answer my questions and discuss options with me and my family. He was very thorough and did not rush. He spoke slowly so I could understand, and he made sure I understood everything before he moved on. I'm guessing this is why his office was behind on appt time.

This was my first visit with Dr. Costa. From the moment he entered the exam room he was acutely attuned to my needs start to finish. He was extremely thorough and took time to LISTEN!!!!! Good job Dr. Costa and of course I will be spreading the good news throughout Mayberry :):):)
