Dr. Ratner is a wonderful physician who has saved my sight. I had been seeing another doctor where I lived and he was unable to save the sight in my left eye. When I started having problems with the vision in my right eye I found Dr. Ratner and he has been amazing. Not only has he been able to save the vision in that eye, but he was able to treat me with no pain!. I live in Staten Island and I'm so pleased with him that I will continue to travel to Westchester to have him care for my eye. His staff is friendly and helpful and I've never had to wait long for my appointment. Would highly recommend him.

dr. rattner closed a hole in the macula of each of my two eyes. retained 20-20 vision in both. his early diagnosis and expertise as a surgeon saved my eysight..what a man!!!!

Dr. Ratner is a very excellant and brilliant man. Not only did he save my eyesight in my right eye which was bleeding and had fluid behind it he also is now saving my left eye. Getting shots in both of my eyes was very scary to me but Dr. Ratner is very gentle . He is also very professional but yet nice when you speak to him. To me Dr. Ratner is my saving grace and miracle worker.

Dr. Ratner is a kind, patient and caring man who has managed to keep me seeing out of my left eye, which was losing vision rapidly.
Although injections in the eye sound awful, he has always made sure that it never hurts, which is in itself a miracle. I owe him alot and am so grateful to have found him.
Also, his staff is warm, patient and a pleasure to deal with.

Dr. Ratner is a wonderful man. After he saved my vision he helped save my life. I was 100lbs overweight and severely diabetic. After correcting my eye problems he gently guided me towards bariatric surgery. I've lost 107lbs and my diabetes is gone. It was Dr. Ratner's care and concern that changed my life forever.

I am a different person today because of Dr. Ratner. Over 2 years ago when I walked into his office with retinopathy brought on by type 2 diabetes, I was overweight and had other medical conditions. Through is medical expertise my eyes are now fine and I have gotten my health under control too. It was due to his encouragement that I decided to have gastric bypass surgery and 110 lbs. later my overall health is great!. Thank you Dr. Ratner for helping me change my life for the better!

Unlike the well-known Manhattan doctor who treated my mother’s macular degeneration for several years, Dr. Ratner didn’t think her condition demanded monthly visits—and after several treatments, he decided that every ten weeks would suffice to control her disease. But more important, unlike the other doctor, Dr. Ratner’s injections are never painful; therefore, she no longer needs to apply cold compresses to her eyes when we get home. Often, we go out for lunch after her treatment. Yes, Dr. Ratner is a wonderful doctor.

Dr Ratner is extremely professional and my trust in him has not diminished since first going to him 12 years ago with a severe case of retinopathy. His skills during and after the surgery have been excellent. I am very thankful to have him as my doctor.
