Best physician anywhere in Chicago. My husband and sons have been his patients for 10+ years. He is so smart and so helpful. Whatever his diagnosis alwasys seemed to be accurate. He is not medicine-happy, either, which we love. What an interesting, friendly & caring man. Thank you, Dr. Bhoopal

I have a specialized, relatively rare condition that I have had treated by other doctors. I switched to Dr. Bhoopal because of my insurance. While I don't expect a family practice physician to be well-versed in rare disorders, he showed a lack of knowledge about the anatomy and physiology related to my condition, which led him to generally dismiss my complaints. Although my symptoms worsened, I was rarely examined (no blood pressure, no temp, only occasional physical exams) and few tests were ordered. When I was finally able to switch to another doctor and get the tests that I needed, I found out that my condition had indeed deteriorated while I was under Dr. Bhoopal's care.

A very good doctor. Was willing to listen and answer all my questions with a smile and made me feel I was well taken care of. Would recommend to others for sure.

Dr. Bhoopal definitely shys away from prescribing medication for anything not absolutely necessary. This is a good thing for the most part, as he is very knowledgable and has a practice that doesn't appear to be dictated by the pharmaceutical companies.

Smartest Doctor on the planet. Great disposition. When you go to his office, you can always strike up a conversation with the other patients about him, and all agree what a great man, detailed, organized and beyond intelligent. A natural at his job.
