I had high expectations of Dr. Doucet, I have had chronic pain for many years and through diet and exercise have managed to keep the symptoms controlled with hardly any pain medication but sometimes it is necessary. Her staff and herself informed me they feel "uncomfortable" prescribing any pain medication. In addition, I recently went on a humanitarian aid mission and needed a commonly prescribed medication to prevent malaria. Once again I was informed by her staff that she didn't "feel comfortable" prescribing this medication and I would need an appointment at the travel clinic, which is really just a way to get more money from her patients. I had recently just had a complete physical in which she referred me to 3 separate Dr's for various common things. Overall, while I feel she does listen and takes my concerns seriously she clearly lacks the confidence and/or ability to treat her patients appropriately for common complaints. Due to this I will be changing providers.

We are switching Dr.'s . She was no help to a patient when he needed her. Her words were. "Sorry there is nothing I can do for you". To a man on prescribed to depression meds and was unable to reach his therapist. She has no problem with him going 9 days without meds and tell him sorry. Well done Dr. Well done.

I came to Dr Doucet because I have a cholesterol problem, I'm a 40yr who exercised and eats clean, I'm slim and run a few times a week. My previous DR wanted to put me on a statin to help the cholesterol. I wanted someone to find out why this is happening, I also have a thyroid condition which can effect the cholesterol. She is amazing and taking to find the cause before just putting me on a statin. I think she is wonderful.

I came to see Dr. Doucet because my doctor of 30 years is retiring. Medicare doesn't allow for meet and greet encounters to select a doctor as they say you should do so I had to sign up for a physical which I may have to pay for. After 30 years with the same doctor I was apprehensive about finding a new doctor. Those fears were completely unfounded. She made me feel very comfortable and I feel I was lucky to find her.
