Over the past four years, my spouse and I, each in our 70s, have undergone hip replacements performed by Dr. Yun. He has his staff have been excellent in all respects. Our recoveries were made as anticipated, and our pain-free walking has been restored. Dr. Yun cares about his patients' results and their better health and enjoyment of life without pain.

Dr. Yun is an EXCELLENT surgeon. Do not get sidelined by his dry bedside manner, or his discourteous staff. The end result is you will have a renewed body, with only a very tiny scar. (For my surgery, the anesthetists told me Dr. Yun watches his screen, as well as their screen to check the patient's breathing, which is unusual. Most surgeons watch their screens, only. ) I highly recommend Dr. Yun for orthopedic surgery. Proper orthopedic surgery betters the quality of your life.

Dr. Yun is one of the best surgeons. His support staff is highly competant, and provides relevant information. His records peaks for itself... over 1,500 surgeries, with only 11 complications. He bedside manners are lacking. But if you take everything into account, I'd rather have better technical, medical and competent and highly motivated and prepared team, as opposed to a poorly managed and "compassionate" team that is unrepared and irresponsive. Ive had medical treatment in the past from very nice and "caring" personell. Given the choice, id much rather be under the the former. Surgery is not a social service, where the training places bedside manner over that of a highly motivated and educationed team. I would rate Dr. Yun's overall experience, treatment a evaluation for about that of sweet talking. Surgery is far to important to select a team of doctors and support staff, over that of personalities!

He is ARROGENT, and is through with you right after surgery, and totally lacking in bedside manner. He has the best statistics in the state for no post-op complications. He has a lot of his flunkies following him around. I hope he treats his family better than he does his patients.

Excellent I was walking the next day with a cane. After 5 weeks I am walkink with no assistance

Dr. Yun is great right up until after your surgery, then if you need something for post op or have an issue... You can't get a hold of him. The office staff that answer the phone are surly and you can tell they don't care at all about the patients needs. I had tried for over 6 months to reschedule a post op appt. with no return calls. If you go to the SM office you have to pay for an office visit and a hospital visit and they don't tell you before hand. I finally went to another surgeon to have him check and make sure I was healing correctly. Dr. Yun is very knowledgeable but no bedside manner and no follow thru.
