I had a toe issue and went to see Dr. Rood. I told Dr. Reed that I am a very squeamish patient. He understood - and explained everything to me before he proceeded. Was extremely thorough - and spoke in normal people speak- not dr jargon that I could not understand. His staff was wonderful. The whole experience was excellent!!! Dr. Reed is an amazing podiatrist and I would highly recommend him to anyone!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Reed. Feeling some never-before-experienced pains in my foot after training for a 5k, and with the race only a couple of weeks away, I made an appointment. Dr. Reed quickly found out what the issue was and went over all of my options. I like the fact that he explained things in a way to me that I could understand. In the end, he mended me up and I completed my race! I would recommend him without hesitation.

I had a painful bump on the top of my foot for months. My previous podiatrist, misdiagnosed me and scared me half to death. First he claimed my ganglion cyst was caused by my wearing bad shoes. Then, when my foot continued to hurt and I saw him again, he claimed the cyst "had hardened" and therefore, only surgery could remove it. He made this declaration without even x-raying my foot.

Scared, I went to Dr. Reed for a second opinion and thank God I did. Dr. Reed did an x-ray and determined that the cyst could be treated immediately. He looked stunned when I told him about the other doctor's diagnosis. He told me that, soft or hard, cysts can be taken care of. He gave me an injection of steroids and the cyst has disappeared ever since. Dr. Reed saved me from unnecessary surgery and for that, I will always be grateful!

This is long overdue! I have been going to Dr. Reed for about 3-4 years now and have referred countless friends and co-workers to him - because he is AWESOME! I live in Yorba Linda and wear heels everyday - so my feet are pretty bad. From ingrown toenails to plantar fasciitis - Dr. Reed has helped me through it all. I had been to at least 4 podiatrists in the area some very inexperienced and others should have retired years ago prior to going to Dr. Reed and now I will never leave him! He is hyper-intelligent and incredibly easy to talk to - which is kind of rare combination in a Doc. Eventually I will have to have bunion surgery - but I have faith that he will do an awesome job. He totally gets that women are vain about their feet - and knows we don' want gross scars and messed up toenails - and totally takes that into account when offering solutions.

He is also just really fun to talk to. He will never rush you and will patiently answer all of your questions, which are always scientific - but explained perfectly to a lay person. He is a really great doctor and has basically saved my feet from sudden death on many occasions. Dr. Reed is the real deal - I would recommend him to anyone!

He is the podiatrist, every patient with foot problems dream to have. Professional, friendly, very complete examination and spent extra time to answer all of my questions. The procedure was pain free and I was expecting pain from the injection and that was amazing due to how nervous I was about the procedure. I did go to another podiatrist in the area who is a brand new doctor who seems to push surgery way too much and had little experience so please check out the experience of the doctor.

Dr. Mark Reed was the second doctor I went to for my ingrown toenail. The first foot doctor did not do the procedure right and the ingrown nail returned. The pain from the procedure was also terrible and I do not think the doctor understood what she was doing because she was saying that it is supposed to hurt. Dr. Reed took a lot of time to explain the procedure and reassure me that the injection was going to go smooth. Dr. Reed used a skin vibrator that made the shot painless and I did not feel anything as to the needle and the numbing of my toe. Dr. Reed talked about a number of interesting topics so the procedure was done and felt like it only took a few minutes. The office is very clean and the staff is great. There is not a better doctor out there for foot care. I highly recommend that you go to this doctor.

I had the best experience I have ever had with a doctor. I thought I would have alot of pain from getting my big toenail removed, but Dr Reed made sure that I didn't. He is very professional, and knows the tricks to making sure you have a pain free nail removal. I would recommend him highly, as he spends more time with his patients so that they understand the procedures that need to be done. If you are afraid of pain, this is the podiatrist to go to!!)

I had an ingrown toenail removal. Dr. Reed was very helpful in explaining the treatment procedure and after care BEFORE we scheduled the procedure. The whole treatment was far less painful than I imagined for 15 years. Very gentle and a great listener.

Dr. Mark Reed removed an ingrown toenail then proceeded to give me an antibiotic that was a penicillin derivative when I specifically told him I was allergic to penicillin. He would not change his mind so I called my regular physician who prescribed something else and told me I absolutely should not take what he had prescribed.
