Went to Cedars with a congenital issue. Tried fixing it in Chicago with cath surgery, then again at Cedars without success. Dr Fontana was down to earth, open, honest and knowledgable. After open heart to repair issue, was out of hospital on Day 4. That day driving (Passenger) was very painful. Got off the strong pain meds in 6 days, onto over the counter meds. First couple of weeks were challenging but pain only showed during sneezing or rolling into or out of bed. Within 6 weeks, was back to normal. Did a cardiac rehab in another state. Surgery was in 2008. It's 2014 today and no known side effects. Feeling great. Would highly recommend Dr Fontana. Had to ride the staff at times but that was due to work needing very specific paperwork. All in all, everyone was great.
